RIP
Not a big fan but a few super killer tunes for sure.
2 out of 3 in particular.
The latest news is quite sad.
If only he took his hamburger helper...

Upon further thought
We will rock you by queen may clap harder then centerfield?

Centerfield was the first one I thought of but since it was already mentioned here's one with just like only 5 seconds at the beginning that crossed my mind as well:
Great call!

The king of clapping songs is centerfield by John Fogarty.
Seems like some CCR songs have some clapping too.

I remember buying it the day it is was released. Getting baked. First listen was likely my biggest WTF rush moment ever.
Parts are good. I suspect my fave keys are not played by ged. I have always been slightly aggravated that the outside help is not clearly explained. Blah blah, blah
-
And I stand corrected...both of them ARE actually on the tracklist!!!

Nice
I think my confusion lies in calling liar the first single after after I have already heard two songs.
Too bad liar isn't a cover of the megadeth classic!

Weakest of the three songs I have heard.
That said, I have been a Alex fanboi since the 70s. I think its great that he making music he likes and I don't care for.
Art as expression lives on in Alex!
Three songs? Where are the other two????
Rod, I am likely wrong. I thought Kabul blues and spy house were part of the EON project? My bad
Edit- the link in the original post seems like i am correct?
Oh, got it! No, these songs are stand alone tracks that Alex worked on. My understanding is that they won't be on the EON album.

Seems like they are?
I am super curious to hear how much banjo playing is on this record

Aja may be their most celebrated but you are way more likely to hear a song from can't buy a thrill on the radio
By a long shot.
Dan is #2 only to rush for me and as such, I favor all Dan over any supertramp. Even the pre- can't buy a thrill material and the post gaucho releases.
Katy lied
Royal scam
Pretzel logic are my top 3
Supertramp are great . Crime of the century is their best imo.

How the hell is "Scenes" in this and not "Images?" "AWAKE!" IT RULES.
No question about I&W is their best.
The Kevin Moore era is way better than the rudess era. Obviously the portnoy era shits on the mangini era imo.
If you like the rudess era and are not familiar with liquid tension experiment , then dig in!
I saw the sfam, 6doit, and bc&sl tours.

Pyscobeta beatdown baby....
The first cypress disc has aged much better than most rap records of that era.
D'oh!

I used to say darts with an attitude.
Used to shoot all the time. Now it's once in a while.
It's a great hobby/skill.
Got a sweet longbow and shoot wood arrows. Also got a wood recurve.
Tried like hell to kill an elk with my longbow. Got super close several times but no luck getting off a kill shot.

How Many More Times ain't no slouch."Iconic"? Zep II, Who's Next, Paranoid.
I was definitely thinking about Zep II. Mainly for Ramble On. I've heard many a later bassline steal from it. The definition of influential.
I say zep # 1.
Dazed and confused is the most iconic bass riff by zep imo.
Good call. What a player.

Tommy Shaw. I think it was the HYF tour. He was OK. Nothing to write home about.
I had free tix to that show, really good seats, and saw Tommy and of course was thrilled. I took my cousin and she wasn't feeling well and we had to leave like 3 songs into Rush...sigh.
Yeah it was HYF. Saw that show twice.
Openers I have seen
Max Webster
Y & T
Blue oyster Cult
John butcher

Queen- the game
Another one bites the dust
Crazy little thing called love
And as an added ass kicking bonus
Dragon attack
Under pressure is likely their most iconic song . Just ask vanilla ice!

BSSM by RHCP
The Righteous And The Wicked
Naked In The Rain
Suck My Kiss
I Could Have Lied
Just not even gonna mention Give It Away are you? lol
EDIT: This is actually a great great choice. The bass drives most of the songs and nearly every line is top tier.
If we are going to focus on iconic songs , It's give it away.
I don't consider any of the others to be iconic.
Meat Loaf dies aged 74, with his wife at his side.
