The title ... the cover. Ugh. Was prepared to thoroughly hate this, but I mostly enjoyed it, as it was more or less in the same vein as Creatures of the Night. Rick N. Backer's post above gives me some hope moving forward.

Rock and Roll Over (1976) -- like Hotter Than Hell (1974) and Dressed to Kill (1975) -- are total snoozefests for me. Blasphemy within the KISS fandom, probably, but I will never play these three again. The proggy Music From "The Elder" is far more interesting (this was only my second listen ever), but I'll satisfy my prog needs elsewhere, thank you. The hard-rocking Creatures of the Night (1982), though? I dig it enough to keep it around. Way different sound for the band. Not so ... juvenile ... to my ears. Again, this was only my second listen ever.

A palate cleanser before I resume exploring KISS.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard -- Polygondwanaland

Only 36 minutes long. Refreshing.

Been exploring KISS a little bit. I loved them when I was 12 (1980ish), mostly because I thought their image was cool. I quickly decided they were clowns and their music sucked, lol. I've found a few gems here and there. (I quite enjoyed "Naked City" from Unmasked yesterday, for example.)

If you like Infest the Rats' Nest be sure to give their latest -- PetroDragonic Apocalypse -- a spin! -
I'll try something else when the time is right. I had chosen Tango because Little Lies came on the radio during my commute; I hit my Shazam app immediately to find out who it was.

I did recognize Everywhere, but not Seven Wonders. I liked the former, disliked the latter.

Fleetwood Mac -- Tango in the Night (1987) First listen. My first Fleetwood album, actually. Meh. I did know "Little Lies," which I adore.
