Il Balletto di Bronzo -- Ys A "love it or hate it," intense, bombastic slab of ELP-esque Italian prog from 1972. Discovered this album thanks to Mark Krueger's "Planet Prog" radio show in Milwaukee in the late '90s. Caught them live at NEARfest 2000 in Pennsylvania. I will not listen to Ys more than once per calendar year because I refuse to wear it out or take it for granted. Dark, baroque, with hints of Goblin. Entre Perpetuo knows what I'm talking about.

This is KISS?? What a departure! Doesn't sound like KISS at all! Maybe that's why I enjoyed it as much as I did

First album in a while.

Took a break of several days from music. I did listen to two BÖCs yesterday: Mirrors Cultösaurus Erectus

This has always been my favorite Doors album!

My fave Italian prog is YS (1972), by Il Balletto di Bronzo. Familiar? If not, try the track "Epilogo."

First listen. 4/10.
