Sorry, picture was way to large. I'll resize it and post it tomorrow.

I obtained Photoshop 7 through some questionable means and I haven't really been up to much recently. I now use Photoshop for art projects at school. I don't have any saved anymore after they somehow all got deleted. I just have one recent project which was submitted today and won a poll with a class we are competing with. They felt it was the best one. I don't think much of it, but I'll post it later tonight when I can upload it onto the computer.

It might be best if we do one album per post. It would keep each thread from getting cluttered.

QUOTE (Inthend @ Oct 2 2011, 08:34 PM) In England it is legal for a male to urinate in public, as long as it is on the rear wheel of his motor vehicle and his right hand is on the vehicle. My god that is amazing. That's it, I'm heading to England

QUOTE (rushgoober @ Oct 2 2011, 05:00 PM) QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Oct 2 2011, 01:37 PM) Its more of a filler song a very apt description. some here vociferously refute the concept of a "filler" song, but not i! the song is the very definition of filler.
If they do not believe in filler songs, they should look at "The Last in the Line" by Dio. Only 3 songs on that album aren't fillers.

I remember seeing a documentary about hearing implants. A deaf family was debating whether or not to give their daughter a hearing implant. They were worried about her losing her "deaf culture". They got into real heated debates. The grandparents were talking about a lot of bullying regarding their deafness, then talked about how they would hate for their granddaughter to be able to hear. It was a very idiotic argument. It was like they thought that the daughter wouldn't be able to communicate despite knowing sign language.

This one feels a bit cluttered. I haven't made a sig in years. I should try taking requests. I think my photoshop now is much better than then. It probably would look much better

I'll also be a bit more annoying and bump this topic at 8PM EST every night. Plus it'll raise my post count.

Made these about 4 years ago and just found them over again.
The one bellow is now the number one result on google for "Led Zeppelin Sig"

I don't really consider them my best work. It has been 4 years.

I think I gave up after trying really hard on this. Just made it simple. I wish I knew now what I did then with Photoshop.
I had a bunch more, but I have no idea what happened to them.

I believe Iron Maiden got the snub because they have tended to be a bit more progressive since the 90's.

Anyone up for round 2? I'll try to be on every night at this hour.

I hope the 4th seasons lives up to the first 3. Too bad whenever I see Lucille now, I see Malory Archer. Both roles are so perfect for her. Hard to believe she was in Play Misty For Me

You forgot Hemispheres so I voted Test For Echo
-
Its more of a filler song, but still fits well on the album.

Had to choose Ghost Rider. Such an erie sounding song and its all about Neil's journey since his family tragedy.

Holy shit on the amount of Rush you've seen.
I've only seen each of the following once.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Crosby, Stills, & Nash
Buddy Guy
B.B. King

I figure I'll do that later this week if it doesn't clear out.

Anybody else up to joining in ATM? It is just me and USB

I laughed a bit at the Rush Concert Bathrooms

We should do that each night at 8:00 Eastern Time. How about 9:30 tonight?

Had to take the SAT today and when I got to the school, I realized that I left the ticket of admission at home, 20 minutes to, then 20 minutes back. Unfortunately, I got there right on time without the ticket.

Post band t-shirts you have whether it be or Megadeth or the Grateful Dead

Similar to this, but the zeppelin takes up the entire shirt and Led Zeppelin is printed correctly on the bottom. Hard to find even this picture

My biggest reget is not having a shirt. I've had many opportunities to buy one, but they never looked very good.

I've gotten much better band shirts on Ebay.

Every forum I've been to believes in some way they've been able to influence something in pop culture, whether it be Rush, the WWE, or an episode of South Park.
Where to start?
in Rush

Based on your taste in music, I'd say go with their 70's and 90's albums. 70's for the rocking and progressive stuff (2112, Rush, Hemisphere), 90's (Counterparts, Test For Echo) for the heavy grungy sounding albums. If you're into the synth stuff (I like it equally), then it is a good starting point as well.
You don't have to download or buy it. Do what I do, go on Youtube or Spotify and listen to it for free and legally there. Then make your decisions based on what you liked. Even though I did have a rather shady way of obtaining my entire Rush discography (minus Signals, Snakes & Arrows, and a few live albums)
