  1. I sit with my neighbor on the bus to school (30 minute ride) and he usually puts in 2-3 episodes a day on his PSP. Watching the animation only, the show looks great, especially since it looks like it was done using Adobe products. I recently got a splitter and watched half an episode today. I'm slowly starting to be a Brony.

Take it from someone who has been married 10 years to someone who hates Rush and Rock Music altogether, it really doesn't matter. She tolerates them and enjoys the concerts I drag her to (because that's what spouses do, I went to see Gwen Stefani with her)

But at the end of the day I still listen to them whenever, go to their concerts, etc and she couldn't care less. Basing a relationship on whether or not she likes your favorite band isn't the way to go...

your right, I just met her so its not serious. That being said I whole heartedly agree with you, relationships shouldn't be based on whether she also likes the same band lol, but let me tell you its a fresh a breath air to meet girls who do lol.

There's quite a few here on this here message board.

  3. I like it, but it does seem more like a book cover. I feel the other cover is better. It's less complicated and still looks strong, I feel it's among their best.

After ignoring my friend's assurances that I would LOVE Rush, I (finally) first heard The Trees on the radio back in 1978 and the rest is history.

I'm psyched about CA for one reason: Nick R is clearly a fan of elder Rush and so that influence combined with so many great years of experimentation and growth should (IMHO) produce a GREAT Rush album (sorry - still think of them things as 'albums'). I'm thinking it'll be the best of old Rush and new Rush embodied (as opposed to disembodied) in the newest Rush.

What's wrong with calling them "albums". It's not like people have stopped calling them that.

This is a nasty poll!!!! Really like both of their work.

Ozzy, as has been said, had tons of tremendous talent around him. Talent around Dio was not half bad either. Plus Dio had the better voice. I never got to see Dio live although I have certainly seen plenty of live recordings of him. Ozzy I saw live twice (late 80 - early 90's). One show was good, the other was very good.

Unlike some here I actually like Sacred Heart, although I will agree that its not all that close to Rainbow in the Dark and The Last in Line.

This is really close vote for me and although I really like Ozzy's work Dio gets my vote by the skin on a bats wing (perhaps less).

Oh, and even though You Can't Kill Rock and Roll that because WE ROCK!!!!

I don't like Last in the Line much (besides the first two & last track), but Sacred Heart, Dream Evil were both great albums.

  8. I picked Dio. I like his Sabbath stuff slightly more than Ozzy's. And his solo career was better in terms of great albums. I'd pick Diary of a Madman before any other album between them, but after the 80's, Dio still had some great albums like Magica & Killing the Dragon. Ozzy could hardly touch it. Though I did like Scream a little bit.
  9. Go onto Spotify, Grooveshark, Windows Media Player, etc. and pull up a list of all the songs you have on it. Then you put it on shuffle and fill in each catagory for the soundtrack of your life. Or you could just cheat, but where's the fun in that? See what songs happen by chance.

  10. I feel the same way. S&A came out while I was in 7th grade. I first heard songs from it in 9th, it paved the way for my future listening of Rush. It may not be my favorite album, but it holds a special place in my heart. It is a fine album and I expect the next to be even better.
