At least he can still play well in his 70s:

Homie sold his catalog to support his failed golf course. Without royalty checks coming in, he needs another way to pay the bills.

Yeah, he should have gone with a name that was different. Even just calling it KK Downing would have been fine. But I guess since he already had the knockoff Priest songs and the imitation Rob Halford, he figured he would go all in and use the Priest name in case it wasn't obvious he was so desperate to be in the band again once we heard what he had written.
Seeing him being this petty is part of the fun. It's a total spite band.

I think it's impressive that they're doing what they do in their 70s, my grandpa is just a very disagreeable person
Even KK was still full of energy in his 70s

At least having a dog isn't nearly as expensive as having kids.

So is having kids, so I hear. Doesn't influence me to want one, but just good to hear.
Wasn't meant to. Life is good without an obligation too.

Based on artwork, Molly Hatchet had some of the best albums ever.
Molly Hatchet's first few albums are pretty damn fun

It can also get you home early "gotta go let the dog out".
But it can also limit you for the same reason

Having a dog is a good time.

Well some of the heavy hitters have already been called out for sure. I agree massively on Priest (Firepower and IS), Styx (The Mission and CotC), Springsteen (Western Stars, haven’t actually heard Letter To You), and our beloved Rush (Clockwork Angels). A couple others to toss in off the top of my head:
Bowie - Blackstar
Black Sabbath - 13
For me I think it’s less about exactly how long the artist has been around, and more about the sense that a record like this has really been a major uptick in quality or reputation from what their average had become over time.I really don't think 13 has aged very well. It's good for what it is, but I'd argue The Devil You Know by Heaven and Hell might be Sabbath's last great album. It's definitely the best thing Dio did in his later career.
