  1. tporeteq Taxing peasants overmuch really energizes the eminent queen. Let's try something different, create a sentence using your own or another TRF member's name as an acronym. To start, I'll use my name: ghostofarider
  2. Holy alluring ladies Batman! An ostentatiously dressed babe has asked Larry Martin about occasioning your love. bsetmipad
  3. Sucking underwear sometimes makes Ian dance elegantly. I wonder if Bobby does. gdnrelap

  8. Weren't they asking like 3-400 dollars for those tour books when they came out? I took advantage of the recent price reduction and bought those and Roadshow and the 2007 calender. I ordered them to send the stuff by express mail in the hopes that they would get to the house before I went to work but the shit didn't arrive in time dammit.
  9. QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ Sep 21 2006, 02:16 AM) QUOTE (Kid_Gloves @ Sep 20 2006, 08:12 PM) QUOTE (Bluefunk @ Sep 20 2006, 04:16 PM) I uploaded the 'Free Alex' movie- it's a Real player file: http://www.rogepost.com/dn/kn65/lifeson-arrest.rm And this is the pic of Neil and his late family: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y288/Bluefunk/s_Family1.jpg A nice picture, but a sad one. Hey Kid Gloves! I remember seeing this picture many times. Call me weak, but I wept when I saw this one after Neil's daughter and wife passed within the same year. Sad indeed. If I'm not mistaken, this is a screenshot at the end of the "A Work In Progress" video. As they wrap up the video they show this short scene and then Neil riding off on his BMW.
  10. Intelligence is what sets the Rush fan apart. I've always called them the thinking man's (or woman's) band. So welcome smart guy!
  11. I bought all three gold Rush remasters and compared with the band authorized remasters that came later, they don't sound any better than the original cd's IMO. And I also noticed the missing verse in The Weapon.
  12. 1. One of our drive motors on my boat burned up. 2. The last time it happened it took 35 days to fix. 3. Looks like another 35 days or so before we go back to work.
  13. QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Aug 24 2006, 06:31 PM) QUOTE (Ghost of a Rider @ Aug 25 2006, 08:51 AM) QUOTE (Maddy @ Aug 16 2006, 07:48 AM) "Ghost Rider" sounds good for Johnny B. Fine. But just remember that I am the Ghost of a Rider. Easy to remember. I automatically think of Wile E. Coyote when I see your screen name (even if I don't look at the avatar). I didn't see Waterworld so I don't know 'smeat'. Smeat was a canned meat product in the movie. A playful poke at Spam I guess.
  14. QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Aug 23 2006, 11:25 AM) All you spam boys should just get different brand labels of spam as your member titles....i.e. Hormel, Armour, etc. Or how about "Smeat"? Remember the movie Waterworld?
  15. QUOTE (Maddy @ Aug 16 2006, 07:48 AM) "Ghost Rider" sounds good for Johnny B. Fine. But just remember that I am the Ghost of a Rider.
  16. 1. Rush is a band 2. They make good music 3. So everybody here says (I say it too)
  17. 1. Watching "Decoding Exodus" on The History Channel. 2. Hope it's interesting. 3. I'm sure it will be.
  18. * People who endlessly circle the parking lot looking for a spot close to the doors when they could have parked and been in the store already. Addendum: People who are looking for a parking spot close to the door, see somebody loading twenty bags into their vehicle and so they wait for that person to finish and pull out even though it might be ten minutes before they do. In the meantime they are holding up a line of other cars waiting to get parked. * people who open new jars of peanut butter or mayonnaise or whatever even though there's two of them already open. This happens on my boat all the time. The result is that the top shelf in the fridge where we keep all the condiments and such is jam packed with 3 jars of mayonnaise, 2 jars of pickles, 2 bottles of French dressing, 4 jars of strawberry preserves, etc. * People who pass you up doing 60 mph in a 40 mph zone just to hurry up and get to the traffic light that will obviously turn red before they get there. This sort of thing happens a lot here in Louisiana. Drivers here are so impatient. * Not being acknowledged by the salesperson while waiting in a long line. A simple "I'll be with you as soon as I can sir" would suffice. But I hate it when they just keep running back and forth or leave the room entirely without ever speaking to me. * People who cite rules of argument to you without exercising them themselves. They use the "I'm right and you're wrong" argument without presenting evidence to support their argument while at the same time demanding that you present evidence to support yours. That's it for now.
  19. 1. My main pet peeve is willful ignorance. I can't stand it when people express an opinion about something they know absolutely nothing about. 2. People who make bad decisions then wonder why everything went to shit and even blame others. 3. Religion.
  20. QUOTE (Signals1982 @ Aug 20 2006, 12:37 AM) I lost my common scents when I shot a bottle rocket up my nose "Common scents" Is that like a communal nose? Or does it mean ordinary aromas?
  21. QUOTE (DonnaWanna @ Aug 1 2006, 04:48 AM) You're in new York city aren't you? My mom's family is from there but I've never been there. [/quote] Wow sounds like a nice trip Nope im an hour East of the city, On Long Island and yes upstate NY is gorgeous i havent been up there in awhile, me & my Ex used to go campin in the Adirondacks Mountains every year for my bday. It is breath takin It sure is breathtaking. I went through there on another bike trip back in '03 and I couldn't believe that we lived virtually right next door to this place growing up but had never seen it. When I went through there I rode through the northern part on hwy 3 that ends up in Plattsburgh and on my way back I took a slightly different route that took me through Lake Placid. Gorgeous country, all of it.
  22. QUOTE (DonnaWanna @ Jul 31 2006, 11:10 PM) When were u in NY? and where abouts?? I left here around June 27th, spent the night in Memphis, spent another night in Mansfield Ohio then again in Ithaca. From Ithaca I took a leisurely ride up hwy 89 that runs next to Cayuga Lake for the scenery. After that I proceeded up to my aunt's place in the Thousand Islands area on the St. Lawrence river for the family reunion on July 1st and 2nd. It's between the towns of Clayton and Cape Vincent and is the area I'm originally from. It's gorgeous up there and I took a whole slew of pictures. I discovered a waterfall by accident at the lake and stopped to take in the sights and some photos. That area is just too pretty for words. I even stopped at one of those wineries and bought a couple of bottles. I also discovered a covered bridge - something I've never seen before - just southwest of Ithaca and took a few shots there as well. You're in new York city aren't you? My mom's family is from there but I've never been there.
