  1. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ Mar 11 2008, 04:08 PM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Mar 11 2008, 02:15 PM) QUOTE (Janie @ Mar 10 2008, 09:11 AM) Here's a new picture of Neil from Sabian. I found this over in the Rush forum. It was posted by rushfr:CP. (Have to give credit where credit is due you know...) Neil looks HOT! I can't believe this picture of him. I knew you girls would want to see this. http://www.sabian.com/images/CMS/112-10068-image3.jpg Is that Will Ferrell on the left? Is Sabian making cowbells now? It's Chad Smith from RHCP. Like I said in the other thread where this pic came from Chad is definitely a dead ringer for Will. So who's the guy on the right?

  11. QUOTE (Lady April @ Sep 1 2007, 01:32 PM) QUOTE (Ghost of a Rider @ Aug 27 2007, 02:26 PM) My younger sister's new baby Kendall (named after our father). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/ghostofarider1/DSC_0017.jpg And her older sister Carly who's three. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/ghostofarider1/DSC_0018.jpg Carly's a trip. If you ask her something like "Do you like chocolate milk?" she'll say "Oh I DOOoo." Or, if you ask her if she's going to pick up her toys she'll say "Oh I WILLll." I love those pics Ghost! The three year old sounds like her personality is coming out nicely Don't ya just love that??? I do with my 4 year old. The baby is beautiful. Thanks. Carly's going to be something else, I can tell you that. I just bought the pink baby onesie from Rush Backstage for Kendall. I can't wait until it gets here. My sister's going to freak out.

  13. QUOTE (Signal @ Jun 10 2007, 04:51 PM) QUOTE (Ghost of a Rider @ Jun 8 2007, 10:51 PM)I was at a show in New Orleans years ago (probably the Counterparts show, I really can't remember) where Alex's wireless hookup stopped working and we couldn't hear his guitar anymore. He's strumming along, realizes there's a problem, looks down at the guitar then over at his tech and makes a "WTF?" gesture at him. The guy comes running up and the two of them are twiddling with knobs and shit for about a full minute before the sound comes back up. I was at that show! It was in the New Orleans Lakefront Arena and, if memory serves me well, Candlebox opened for Rush that night. Awesome show! I remember the incident with Alex's wireless going out. At least it proved to my nutjob friend that the band wasn't lipsyncing. Well I'll be dipped in shit, it's a small world after all. And you're right, Candlebox did open for them. I remember the singer reminiscing about when he bought Permanent Waves and had said to himself to the effct; "This is the f*cking shit."

  17. QUOTE (treeduck @ Apr 28 2007, 10:38 PM) QUOTE (Ghost of a Rider @ Apr 28 2007, 09:29 PM) I just stumbled on this thread. I should venture into other areas besides Rush and Random Samples once in a while. Anyway, I'm a big fan of Kansas. Got into them about '88 when I heard Leftoverture. I now have all their albums but I never cared for the first one much. My favorite albums are Leftoverture, Masque, and Song For America. Some of my favorite songs are: Carry On Wayward Son, Miracles Out Of Nowhere, Opus Insert, Sweet Child Of Innocence, Paradox, Hopelessly Human, Mysteries And Mayhem, Lonely Street, Questions Of My Childhood, Away From You, Hold On, No One Together, Rainmaker, Myriad, Not Man Big. Among rock singers I place Steve Walsh second only to Steve Perry. That dude could sing his ass off. On a personal note, I think Ehart is very much an underrated drummer. They came to play at the Cajun Heartland Fair a few years ago and seeing as how it was an open venue, I brought my camera and got a few good shots. Rich williams http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/ghostofarider1/RichWilliams.jpg Phil Ehart http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/ghostofarider1/PhilEhart.jpg Steve and Robbie http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/ghostofarider1/SteveWalshandRobbieSteinhardt.jpg Good pics there... Thanks a lot. Me and my brother were right up front at the stage. I was no more than about 20-30 feet from the stage when I took them. About a year after this REO, Styx, and Survivor came to Lafayette and who did I see on the floor but Robbie Steinhardt with his arm around his (presumably) wife. Alas, I didn't have a camera as this wasn't an open venue. He was wearing another one of those Native American themed T-shirts. In just about every pic I've seen him in he's wearing one of those. As you can see in my pic he's wearing one with two wolves on it.
