  1. QUOTE (clive @ Apr 21 2011, 12:47 PM)Looks like I'm the only one to send to Cleveland, I know it was the worst choice as they were filming, but it was the only choice I had at the time. It'll be a week tomorrow since the show, I guess I won't be getting my stuff back. Congrats to all of those that did! +1 There is a Signals LP cover floating around dowtown Cleveland somewhere. It was a risk I was willing to take. The memories of the actual show will more than make up for it. What a magical night soon to be watched over and over again in HD.
  2. QUOTE (PolarizeMe @ Apr 13 2011, 06:45 PM)I wonder if the Quicken Loans Arena's fire code will allow the pyrotechnics for Friday's show considering it's the day when Rush film the DVD for this tour. I'd be disappointed if the fans going on Friday won't be treated with the fire for Witch Hunt, Caravan and 2112, cause for me personally, I love that aspect of the show that I want to see how it turns out on the DVD later this year or early next year. I can't say for sure but I do know: 1) Pyrotechnics (small but still fire) shoots out from the hanging scoreboard for every Cavs game player introductions. 2) Have seen Metallica there several times and they always come with pyro for specific songs. One more day... Go Tribe !!!
  3. QUOTE (glennb2112 @ Mar 23 2011, 09:49 AM) I have not received my tickets to the show in Nashville so I thought I would contact music today to see what's the "hold up". I first checked my billing information to make sure they were sent to my new address. there is a place for UNIT on the form. I thought that meant APARTMENT number. Apparently thats not the case..so they sent my tickets to my APARTMENT COMPLEX but not to my apartment. I know that I could have the tickets placed at will call, after explaining myself numerous times to Krystal (who kept telling me there isn't a unit block on the form) Damn!!!! I hate will call..makes me nervous and i love having my tickets in hand so that there is no mix up! Not sure how far away you are from the arena but you may be able to pick them up early. I always trust that they will be there but it's the lines that drive me nuts. This happened to me at another concert (not Rush and not Music Today) I called the arena a few days before the show to confirm they ahd tham and I picked them up. It was a pain but at least I had them in hand.
  4. How about: 'Working Man' in Cleveland for 37 years and counting Works on two levels 1) The songs longevity 2) A testament to the hard working people of Cleveland You already know they are going to play the song so what a perfect opportunity to for Cleveland to put a stamp on the DVD.
  5. QUOTE (hughes&kettner @ Mar 11 2011, 12:54 AM)F Pittsburgh Amen !!
  6. QUOTE (L. Wince @ Jan 9 2011, 09:33 AM) I will be buying it on BluRay the second its released. LOL +1
  7. QUOTE (softfilter @ Dec 18 2010, 02:51 AM)I can only hope the "Q" Cleveland is selling well, going to be some embarrassing sh*t if they don't get at LEAST 10,000 for a concert there filming!! Your post struck my curiosity. I just checked to see what remained between the three sales on Quicken Loans' Page: 1) VIP - No tickets remaining 2) Citi Card - Some seats in sections 104, 130 , and 133 3) General Public - 200 level sections (Top half of the rows)
  8. QUOTE (Oziumrules @ Dec 10 2010, 01:28 PM)I don't mind $150 per seat as long as I am within the 1st 20 rows. I would never pay $150 for a lower bowl or side seat. I was the same way until about 10 years ago then I sat in the first few rows in the lower bowl and loved it. Those are the first seats I go for at any concert now. On the floor you are packed in like sardines and it's difficult to see over people on the same level as you (well, for me it is at 5' 9"). In the lower bowl, that's not an issue. Nothing beats first few rows on the floor dead center if you are lucky enough to get them but try my way once, I think you'll be more than happy.
  9. MSG and all those other big city venues have been played out on DVD countless times by several bands. Why not film somewhere different and at the same time pay homage to the city where their songs first graced the airwaves. Oh...and as an added bonus send a message to the myopic Rock Hall nomination committee who year after year show their bias by not acknowledging Rush. P.S. The Indians are in town that night so downtown should be rockin'
  10. Me too!!! Sec 125 row 22 (on the aisle that is closest to the stage). I got mine thru the Citi pre-sale for $46 each (the total for two tickets was $118 including all charges and both tickets). Suh - weet !!! The reason for the lower price is Sec 125 row 22 is not the lower bowl. You are in the Club section 8 rows back. There are only 14 rows in the lower bowl for the middle sections. Still decent seats at a great price but that explains the difference.
  11. Got mine through the Music Today site and it was seamless. Section 109 row 2 baby !!! Perfect seats to be 'Caught in the Camera Eye'
  12. Same concerns here. Quicken Loans Arena does not use Ticketmaster for events. They use their own box office.
