QUOTE (Scars @ Jan 24 2011, 12:27 AM) QUOTE (slappa_da_bass @ Jan 23 2011, 10:15 PM) QUOTE (Deckiller @ Jan 23 2011, 10:03 PM) QUOTE (slappa_da_bass @ Jan 21 2011, 01:29 PM) You're doing better than Deckiller lol Correction: "I agree with your list more than Deckiller's" :-P
I don't sacrifice ranking to avoid seeming unbiased. For instance, I definitely would rather listen to most of Power Windows before most of Vapor Trails, and my list reflects that.
Correct correction: I find GBR's details behind his ranking more coherent than yours most of the time...
Are you done attacking Deckiller or what?
Guys guys other than Deckiller flaking out on his own project for two months both these lists are going great, and I enjoy reading both of them. That third list by that other guy though...

I don't think there's anything stopping Time Stand Still from being dropped. I would HATE to see it dropped, but Geddy does seem to have an issue singing it correctly. I just hope there are some changes to keep it fresh. I don't wanna pay twice for the same show. They have to be slightly different.

Me and three total bro's will be road trippin down from SLC to Vegas in my Accord going 100 the whole way to see this grand show.

QUOTE (StanGetz @ Jan 22 2011, 03:17 AM) QUOTE (That One Guy @ Jan 20 2011, 01:44 AM) No Red Rocks? I'm baffled. I guess it'll be off to Vegas.
Is the MGM Grand a good venue? Anyone been there?
I've seen four Rush shows at the MGM and I like it. There is one thing you should consider regarding floor seats. If you aren't very tall then you need floor tickets in the upfront sections. Otherwise, seats on the side would most likely be better.
I am 6'2" so people won't be obstructing my view. Do getting seats on the side have a price advantage of some sort? What can i expect to pay for a decent seat there? I'm just looking at close enough to be able to see them without the monitor.

I'm suprised he stopped doing them as of late. It's not like they're hard to perform.

QUOTE (NoRoXiM @ Jan 19 2011, 07:16 PM) Swap Time Stand Still with Ceiling Unlimited.
Swap Far Cry with Jacobs Ladder. No and no. Takin out Far Cry is unrealistic. It's a solid closer. Jacob's Ladder... That's a bid flaccid to end a show with.
I'm all for The Trees being brought in with an Alex intro. I was a little sad it wasn't there in the first place.
And a Lerxst Rant. We NEED one of those.

Hooray he came out of his coma. It was lookin pretty bad for a while.

I wish any participating member of Rush or its management would read stuff like this on this site. The band, Ray, or whoever taking notice of stuff like this would be cool.

Commercials? Where?
I will say, Colbert Report appearance was sweet. Cause I think Colbert's a badass too.
-
Sure, a whole new setlist for leg 2 of The Time Machine Tour would be sweet, but it's not gonna happen. Seeing as five or so songs were swapped between legs of Snakes And Arrows Tour, that seems likely. So, what songs do you think will be replaced?
I'm gonna go...
Swap x for x
Faithless for a third Clockwork Angels song
Presto for A Farewell To Kings
Leave That Thing Alone for The Main Monkey Business
Stick It Out for Ghost Of A Chance
Far Cry for Natural Science
Add In The Mood to the encore
done and done

The list goes on...

So, that's at least a million dollars' worth of wine, right?

Geddy's nose probably broke his hand.

I haven't heard Madrigal, so it probably sucks anyway. On with the list!

Im digging your list. Keep going!

QUOTE (osage2112 @ Dec 8 2010, 02:04 PM) True, for all the good fun wrapped into one...Austin is a pretty righteous place. My son is thinking of going to UT...sure hope he can handle the "distractions."
OsageI live in Salt Lake City, what "distractions" are you talking about?
-
Keep going bro, I look forward to the top picks.
-
They played SLC, and they never come back there for the second leg. Boise, Denver, and Vegas are all 5-8 hours away, and i'll assume they'll hit one or two of those. Rush is worth the travel!
-
Kudos to taking the idea. May your list have be more complete than Deckillers!
-
I would suggest the motion that ONE PERSON finish off his epic list with the 50 or whatever songs that are left, if they are also described in detail like his.
Any takers?
