Europe is very expensive right now with how badly Trump tanked the dollar. 12% weaker against euro from a mere six months ago 

The phrase "station brakes failure" has been seared into my mind since a young age. The memories... the death.... the consequences of not ensuring that fully-loaded trains on multi-train coasters arrive at the station at speeds of 29mph or less....

I was just alright with it on the first high fidelity listen. And about the same on the second. But now it's been a couple months, and I'm finally getting it, really liking it. Figures that would eventually happen, since I'm a longtime WilsonPerson.

Obviously it's not living, but I enjoyed my time driving through northern California. There is some poverty up there, and gas prices are brutal. Just beautiful coast. I liked Crescent City in particular. Santa Rosa seems nice. All of coastal Oregon is also wonderful.

I drink next to zero alcohol at this point, been that way for 1.5 year. Feels good. Kept the weight down so much I struggle to gain weight I want to gain.

Speaking of sugar, my veteran barista didn't put the caramel in my oat caramel latte today. So that's a health plus, less sugar than my usual weekly Tuesday drink; which I always drink over two days. It stops me from quitting my job.

I should start learning how to cook brown rice, I wouldn't mind eating it more often with Mediterranean/Southeast Asian dishes. I eat jasmine rice because my roommate buys a 25lb bag of it at the Asian market.

Just use a $15 rice cooker

Part of the reason I cook brown rice and whole wheat pasta about half the time vs white, more fiber 

oh and don’t eat garbage like Fiber One bars for fiber, not worth it due to how junky those ultra processed foods are

Yeah I’ve looked into it. It seems less and less recommended the older you get. I could certainly talk to doc about it
