  1. Oh, and the same music was played on the second Red Rocks show.
  2. The version of "A Quick One" is from the "The Kids Are Alright Soundtrack." Best version of it in existence, imho.
  3. I heard Alex make mistakes in TS, and to my ears it was his mess up in the end. Big wreck. That said, though, I was BLOWN AWAY at how good the show was last night. I was less than ecstatic after Monday's show (lots of snafus, both human and mechanical), and I thought the sound was muddy. Last night's show was a real winner, and the best sounding Rush show I've ever heard. Every note was crystal clear, the mix was perfect, damn near studio quality. Caravan and BU2B, two songs I wasn't that thrilled about (I liked 'em, but the seemed pretty haphazard when I first listened to 'em), were STELLAR. Caravan is one of their best instrumental tracks ever... I almost wish they hadn't tried to add lyrics! BU2B is suddenly pretty cool, too. I like the lyrics, and I'm wondering about the story arc of Clockwork Angels now as a result... The Camera Eye was PERFECT. To me it was like two different bands played this week. I'm glad I got to see them last night; after Monday I was wondering if they needed some more rehearsal time, a vacation or retirement.
  4. Great pics! What did you use for a camera?
  5. I have to say... This was my 23rd (?) show, and it's the first time I can remember Neil making a mistake... During The Camera Eye he started in on a part a full measure early, and for a couple of seconds there was chaos onstage. It was the closest to a train wreck I've ever seen at a Rush show. I think there were alot of technical difficulties. It seemed like both Geddy and Alex were having monitor issues throughout the night; Alex broke a string in Time Stand Still; he was hitting the wrong chords in Marathon, and several solos were very sloppy, especially YYZ. I love these guys, and I'm glad to see that they are human and DO make mistakes. I was surprised at how many there were this night, though, and I can't help but wonder if there was something going on behind the scenes... A little too much wine before the show maybe...?
