It is so good to see him doing so well after some "lost years". A true rock and roller. Often imitated, never duplicated. His autobiography is facinating as well. Kiss would have never made it without him. All I can say is that I love your post! I have a quick story for you. I met this chick at a pizza place a couple months ago. She used to be friends with the one guy who was in charge with Ace's smoking guitar!Yep!It was one dude in charge of that one special effect.He's a no name guy. Hell even I don't remember his name.He didn't get rich at all. As a matter of fact he was just a normal guy getting normal pay to take care of that smoking Gibson.He was no one that important but he did have his perks.He had a limo at his disposal so he could get from venue to venue.He would get to travel with the band as well.They covered his room and board. So as this post may be lame and outlandish, I met a girl who knew the guy who took care of Ace's smoking guitar. The dude was good with explosives and shit. He was only responsible for that one guitar and that one trick. Crazy shit guys but I fukking love the story. I'm 47 and I am will never grow up. LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL! Great story! Not lame at all. Rock and roll my brother! Thank you my brother!! ROCK AND ROLL EVERYDAY!!! PARTY EVERY NIGHT! WTF? LOL! CHEERS! ACE RULES!! I just listened to "The Elder" too. "DARK LIGHT" is amazing. He truly is an ACE! I love him! I framed my LP cover and it is hagning on the kitchen wall. There are a couple of duds, but overall it is excellent. Naked City is one of Gene's finest moments. And Ace's two tracks?
