Stickman Posted August 9, 2005 Share Posted August 9, 2005 Can't remember if i have asked this b4 but my question is im using my double pedal more and more now and don't quite seem 2 b able 2 get the right feel when playing,do i tighten up the pedal and slacken the skin or do i tighten the skin and slacken the pedal? Stickman Posted September 28, 2005 Author Share Posted September 28, 2005 To answer my own question and 15 views and no replies on the subject i went to a Nicko McBrain drum clinic in Brighton,UK and his advice to the watching audience was to tighten the bass pedal up and slacken the skin off that how he gets the good quick response off the head so i'll give it a try on my 24" beast of a bass drum.
