"Can a spirit with a vision truly be a free spirit? Or is it burdened with the need to fulfill the dream and achieve the mission?"

As I pull out my nerd hat, take Owen for example. He was a spirit with a vision, yet he learned along the way that he had the freedom to make his own choices instead of allowing others to dictate his life. Whether it was the society in his town, or the push and pull of the Anarchist and the Watchmaker to make him choose a side.

Honestly, it depends on how quickly this spirit wants to achieve its mission - quickly or slowly, tomorrow or in the next decade? I have missions of my own, but until I achieve them or have the means to achieve them, I still remain free to make my own decisions and even succeed in smaller missions along the way.

Not to be cliche, but it's really all about perception. If you see a mission/vision to be binding, then it will be. I see my missions/visions to be part of a collection on the road to my self-discovery.

But that's just me.
