It's not only egotistical to think that your particular religion is the correct one, it's bad in that it's often how wars start and divisions are maintained. In other words, it's malignant narcissism... There's a subtlety of meaning to be found everywhere, including the apt title sequence comparing the multitude of religious inventions to Darwin's prophetic theory that is now found everywhere in science.
