No, seriously. I've got sec 6 tix for this show, but I've checked Ticketbastard every day to see if I can score better seats (we'll be checking at the venue, as well). Since that always comes up empty, I check eBay. While there are no (reasonably priced) better seats than what we have, I always pass, but it's worth a look. There are usually many, and some quite affordable. I got to looking at a map of MS yesterday. I didn't realize the arena was inside the casino. Can anyone who has been there before comment on the tailgating? Is it specific parking for concerts, or do you just park where you park and wave to casinogoers along with fellow Rush fans?

kbomb106 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I'll be there. I hear that tailgating is kinda lame, as it's a garage. I looked on MS's webpage, and they indicate that there is outdoor parking with a shuttle service. Is that any better for the tailgating thing? I'd like to bring a canopy and grill or something this time around.

kbomb106 Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 So here's my deal for tomorrow for anyone who wants to meet up: I'm going down early afternoon (I figure I'll be in the area around 4). I'm meeting my friend and his wife at their hotel (Courtyard Norwich - approx 8 mi away) and then I'd like to drive over. If there's no good place to tailgate there, I'm not going to bother - we can just take the free shuttle from the hotel. If anyone has any info about tailgating at Mohegan, please let me know if it's worthwhile to even consider it. I'd love to cook out, chill, and possibly meet other Rush fans and TRFers.

Can you park right outside KK? That would be cool if we could tailgate by KK - although it is admittedly an odd place to tailgate. There's a chance you might be able to spot my car - a green Honda Civic with VT plates, but there's a chance that I'll be in my friend's car, so you can't really go by that. Can you grill in the deck? I'd rather have burgers than donuts.
