need help

ok so i was at work the other night & there was this commercial

on for this show thats now on DVD an i want it!

 

i think its from the late 60s to early 70s...its the 1st show that was on tv instead of the

flag & static at the end of the night

 

it was called midnight________

i cant remember the other part of the title of the show

but it had on all these live bands

from steely Dan to kiss to tom petty...and so on....

 

i thought id be able to remember the name of it so i didnt write it down

while i was watchin it..but my patient started to complain bout the

"loud /screaming" music hahahah

and i had to put on "lifetime channel"

old people these days i tell ya hahahah

 

So anyone out there know what im talkin bout & can help

me out??
