  1. I present to you an unmodified promo poster of the band: http://i.imgur.com/MooxEQw.jpg?1 This picture, as well as an insider source, tells me that the this is how you should really be crediting the band: Bass, vocals, keyboard: Nicholas Cage Drums, Percussion, Lyrics: Nicholas Cage Guitar, strings, etc: Nicholas Cage Now you might be thinking how this is possible, well according to my source Nicholas Cage was a talented mastermind from a young age. When he was 13 (a truly metal number) he saw Rush perform during the "down the tubes tour", which at the time truly did consist of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart. Seeing how the record company was going to shut them down, Cage saw an opportunity. He offered his musical talents anonymously as well as bribe money for the record company on the condition that he be paid a small percentage of earnings from here on out. The following year, 2112 was released to mass critical appeal. Naturally, :rush: didn't want to disappoint fans so they continued to hire Cage, who went on to compose A Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres and Permanent Waves. When fans were disappointed in the departure from progressive Cage said he had enough of prog and that Hemispheres was the straw that broke the camels back in terms of complexity. After the release of signals Rush began honing their inner Nick Cages and began having input on album production. Cage gradually allowed them to have more and more input on album creation as they became better at channelling him. Upon completion of Roll The Bones, Cage declared that it was time for them to produce the next album on their own. They were ready. Test for Echo was later released, and sadly their hiatus came shortly after Neil Peart's tragedies. Upon return from their hiatus, Cage was unavailable to assist with the music making process. Since the three had not channelled The Cage in six year, the result was the well written but poorly produced album known as Vapor Trails. However this did not dampen their resolve, as they went on a pilgrimage through time and space with Nicholas Cage in order to master channelling him. Unfortunately, the journey left them with little time to make an album, so they decided to record some covers and release them as Feedback. Throughout the production of Snakes and Arrows, Cage tried to minimize his input throughout the album in order to force them to rely on their Inner Cagetm. After the Snakes and Arrows tour, cage supervised the recording of Caravan and BU2B and deemed them ready. Clockwork Angels became the first truly independently made Rush album since Caress of Steel. Did you try to figure out what the phrase "What do you lack?" referred to in The Anarchist? It was lack of Cage. The photo posted above is the aftereffect of the band channelling their Inner Cage just after having finished recording the album. Now that the truth is out what do you think of :rush:? Personally, I think it just got a whole lot more Cage. :haz: :haz: :haz:
