A agree the boys played amazing last night. Basically flawless IMHO. This is the 3rd time seeing them this tour and I have one more time in Austin, Texas in June. I have seen them every tour since Grace Under Pressure. Alex was shredding, Geddy was on fire and Neil (I thought) looked strong. The sound was spectacular where I was sitting. The best thing for me was taking my 9 year old son to his first concert. He loved it and watched intently. He was pissed off at all the people getting up from their seats over and over disurpting the show for everyone else. I don't know about others here on this forum but HOLY CRAP sit the f**k down, forget the beer, hold your piss and pay F**king attention to the greatest musicians of our time. Get beer and piss at intermission and when the master of the drums is showcasing his talent pay him the respect he deserves by watching and listening. Sorry for the rant but come on...we are not at a baseball or football game!!! This is RUSH!

Totally agree. This was my first Rush show (im only 16 but they are my fav band for sure) and I hate it when people either dont stand up or dont sit down at concerts. I mean, preferably everyone should stand up and rock out, but if your sitting and really paying attention then people shouldnt be getting up and going and getting beer. I gave this one guy who left for the drum solo a big glare. Its one of the best parts of the show man!!!

If you're the singer in a band, you use your nose to move the microphone rather than your hands or anything else.

Does he do that on the GUP dvd?

I think it's not so much his voice going, as his voice becoming less reliable. He can still hit the notes perfectly on a good day, but he has more off-days than in the past.

Doesn't make him any less enjoyable to listen to though!

That's a better way of putting it. I mean the man can still sing freewill. That's gotta count for something. And look where Ozzy and Daltrey are tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif!!!

You need a USB audio interface. This link will get you on the right track. I highly recommend saving up a few more bucks for quality.

I'm looking at upgrading and getting one of these:

That second link looks good, but check out TASCAM. They have interfaces like that but at cheaper prices ($400) with more inputs on some, even.

Yea, there are some cheaper alternatives, but it works seemlessly with Digital Performer, which is a MOTU product that I am using. I'm not a big fan of Tascam, but I haven't checked them out in the past 5 years. Maybe they have stepped it up since then. I also like the Apogee Duet, but if I'm shelling out those kind of bucks, I may as well get the MOTU.

Well, it's cheap that's all I care about!!!

I don't have one, I'm going to get one asap though.

One thing you should consider is how well is your OS running. If you have no issues with it then cloning is a good way to go, but if you do have issues with it then you would probably be better off just backing up all your data and installing a clean OS.

the only issue with just doing your data is you might forget something in some obscure folder. I find making a clone image is the safest way.

I used Acronis True Image when I got my new SSD to transfer my stuff over from my old HDD.

I found a free program called Macrium Reflect that was recommended in some online pc tech sites.

I have 2 500 GB hard drives in my machine and the 2nd one only contains the original factory configuration (which is Vista, I've upgraded to 7).

So, I used Reflect to do a complete copy of the primary drive onto my secondary.

One thing that has me confused though, the "mirror image" is 80 GB smaller than my primary. I've used 300 GB on my primary drive and the mirror image is only 220 GB in size. So I'm wondering whats the deal with that?

Is the mirror image that was created a bootable drive? Does it contain my OS?

    Any help is appreciated.

Macrium Reflect is a great program - I use it too, to back up my PCs.

The Image of your Primary drive that Reflect created includes EVERYTHING that was on that drive, INCLUDING your OS. If you wanted, you could put the image onto a hard drive and boot up to your computer just exactly the same as the day you imaged it.

Reflect compresses the image, so the reason the image is smaller than your hard drive is because the image is compressed.

You can explore Reflect image files using the software (inside of the software select an image to explore and it will mount it as if it were a hard drive).

Yep, a 12 hour limit to edit posts. We put that in place years ago when we first opened our politics forum. Certain members were going back and changing old posts when they started losing arguments, so we set a time limit for editing, and it's been there ever since.

If you are in a back and forth with someone and they are quoting you and vice versa, then the content of their original post is inside of the quote box not able to be 'changed' by them, rendering them going back because they are 'losing' pointless as everyone can read the original content...

That sire is a vaild point.

Yeah, I'm always surprised when people think those Hemispheres videos were from a live concert. I mean, isn't it obvious they were by themselves? At least they are actually playing in those, I've also actually seen people ask for the rest of the "concert" that the AFTK videos are from. Just amazing.

Well thinking there was more from 1978 was an honest mistake, because I thought perhaps they played more confused13.gif. Heck, it's still awesome footage! It would be cool if we could get it in stereo, too.

I honestly done see how anyone could think the AFTK videos were actually live. It just TOO obvious that it's a lipsync, but I guess people are more gullible (or ignorant) than I thought they were!

I somehow missed that footage or whatever it is from 1977 you guys are talking about doh.gif. What part of the movie is it from?
