  1. Some are born to move the world -

    To live their fantasies

But most of us just dream about

The things we'd like to be

Sadder still to watch it die

Than never to have known it

For you - the blind who once could see -

    The bell tolls for thee...

Best Lyrics ever written by anyone!

    :ebert:  :ebert:

Especially since they were stolen from a John Donne poem.

I thought "For Whom the Bell Tolls" was Hemingway? or was that Metallica?

Hemingway used it for the title of a book but it was taken from a JD poem.

Ok you learn something new everyday. Must find JD peom! :D-13:

    Here you go:

    No man is an island,

    Entire of itself,

Every man is a piece of the continent,

    A part of the main.

If a clod be washed away by the sea,

    Europe is the less.

As well as if a promontory were.

As well as if a manor of thy friend's

    Or of thine own were:

    Any man's death diminishes me,

Because I am involved in mankind,

    And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;

    It tolls for thee.

    Thanks! I have been enlightened!

    :D

  4. Losing It would only be added to the set and another song from the first set dropped. They ain't dropping Subdivisions so it's likely a Grace song would be dropped or a CA song. I wonder if they would do Big Money/Losing It/Subdivisions to close the first set? Talk about f***ing perfection.

Or a triple shot of Signals! The Analog Kid, Losing It, Subdivisions! Or The Weapon, Losing It, Subdivisons! Or even Subdivisions, Losing It, Countdown.

Oh My Countdown could very well be on the table! OMG!

Let's be real folks, you know they are going to bring out Bastille Day.

    Oh you know it!

  6. In the world of Twitter, FB and now Periscope. RUSH has found a way to keep it fresh for everyone every night. This is the mentality I love about these guys! They just keep delivery Night after Night, Tour after Tour, Album after Album. These guys are the best Band ever! There I said it!

  8. They will probably drop the monkey buisness for Losing It dont see them dropping Subdivisions

Nah, I think they've established their drop slots for the first set: Slot 2 (For CA Songs), Slot 6 for Others (Vt-CP) and Slot 9 (HYF-Sig) Or maybe they'll just change things every damn night, Wouldn't that be fun!

  9. Losing It would only be added to the set and another song from the first set dropped. They ain't dropping Subdivisions so it's likely a Grace song would be dropped or a CA song. 10. They probanly will play The Weapon after seeing the mass exit when they play this gem

Good. And I hope I'm there that night enjoying that magnificent song all by myself in the audience as everyone makes a mass exit. Just me and Rush and The Weapon. Heaven on earth!

I will be there too Lorraine. I love the Weapon. I Love all of Signals in fact!

So do I!

Signals hold a very big place in my heart. It was the Album where I truly fell in love with RUSH being a keyboardist. I basically learn to play keyboards during Signals-Grace Under Pressure. Losing It to me is just a perfect song. Feel, Mood, Rhythm, Lyrics. Vocals, the Violin. Its just the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

  11. The Next few shows are definitely going to be Nail Biters!

    :scared:

I just had a terrible notion of a setlist that has Losing It yet has dropped Jacobs Ladder. I don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing. I want to hear both desperately.

Losing It would be in the 1st set wouldn't not, and Jacobs Ladder stays in the 2nd Set so I don't see any reason why it would be dropped???

And having Losing IT soundcheck is great news btw! :D

There's a possibility that Losing it could replace something in the 1st set while Jacobs Ladder get swapped out in the 2nd. One in the other out by totally unrelated songs. But it could happen in the same show,

    :scared:
