I really like 72-74 King Crimson

Count me in on that as well^

I noticed that they are using the 496 and 498 pickups...gah, those are sterile and harsh sounding. I had them in my Gibson and swapped them out. in a day and age where bassoons, violins, and classical guitars require mortgages, 10k is not outrageous for an instrument....production model gibby? Maybe too much by more than half.

I love my 95 Fender J more than any other jazz I have ever played including a 70 and a 65. If there were to be a sea foam green version I may have to jump on it....

I actually have preferred side 2 to side one since the 80s. I love side one, but the bass work on side 2 is astounding and the bass sound on this record is by far my favorite.

Way back in 83...I was 12

This was the "new" album when I first heard them. Second full album I heard after PeW

How can one not like "Nobody's Hero"? Very powerful lyrics.
I don't and it is not because of the lyrics...though they are not great. Song is my least favorite from CP

ATWAS.....raw band no additional triggers! Never get sick of that album

I had a 12 but got rid of it because I never used it. I would bring it on a gig to play one song that really didn't need it. It was a Garrison. Nice gtr, but took up space that other gtrs could occupy.

Why does everyone hate this song?
It's a perfectly crowd friendly track, plays well live, and the studio version is sorely underrated simply because of a 'rap' segment. If that wasn't in there, everybody would be fine with the song.
For me, this was the first lead off single (since Subdivisions for me) that I didn't like. While it was played well on the VT tour, it never grew on me. In fact, other than Bravado, the album never grew on me.

Ace and Paul did great records, but I voted for Peter for a few reasons. First, even though it is a departure from Kiss, it is a consistent album with good songs. Also, I love his voice. I did not like Gene's album....

Please NOOOOOOO!

Man I remember that like it was yesterday. 31 years? How is that possible? Tempus fugit

Jamerson on bass and Bloomfield on guitar...

What Your Doing...for the riff alone

Circumstances for me. Bass line alone....

There are so many from 89 on...probably dog years, T4E, or half the world

I was busy yesterday but after the fact I would like to mention Superconductor as my choice...

If you can be objective about yourself, anyone here who is proficient at playing the guitar, do you think you can sound like Alex? Or is he "The Master" that you still aspire to?
I can play his parts and to a point mimic his sounds. That being said, I can not create like him or create anything that sounds like him. I wish I could pull off half of the emotion he puts out in LVS.

The only one I really don't like is larger bowl. Hope is pretty useless too

I don't listen to this one at all... In fact, I don'tlisten to anything after HYF anymore. Am I not a real fan or just a snob? Seriously the only tunes that really bother me are OLV and HII.

T4E...perp walk did it for me. Just a nose ahead of dog years and virtuality. Virtuality has a great riff which makes it a less pungent turd than the aforementioned.

I never realized how tough it was to pick a worst from one album. This may be worse than RTB. I think the lyrics on the title track make it the worst for me but there are few I like on this LP
