I'll be having grilled lamb chop with potatoes (not sure how I will prepare them just yet) and asparagus (just for Sheldon ;) ). My son will be having the same side dishes but a sirloin steak instead of the lamb. At $5-6 a chop, that boy doesn't appreciate lamb enough to justify the expense. :P

I would be obligated to put at least two asparagus spears on your plate. As long as you eat one, you can have dessert and stay up late. That's the rule at my dinner table. Of course, I'm assuming the steak and shrimp would be hoovered.
Dude, you're feasting on filet mignon and tequila drunk jumbo shrimp. Does it matter how the asparagus is prepared? You.... you picky eaters....
No, see, I bought this asparagus and I have to use it. Besides, I'm making a broccoli gratin to go with a roast chicken we'll be having in a few days. I'm green beaned out atm. Asparagus is yummy! What if I wrap it in bacon?I'm preparing the old surf and turf tonight with filet mignon and jumbo tequila soaked shrimp. Asparagus on the side.
Change the asparagus to broccoli or green beans, and I'll be there in 6 hours.
Will the asparagus be grilled, at least?

Mmmmmm no. I don't have any gravy atm. Whenever I roast a turkey, I end up with a lot of good gravy and I freeze it but I don't have a stash any more. The meat and taters will be flying solo tonight. Although I do slather the loafed meat with a ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard mixture which is sooooooooo good.We are having a certain delicacy known as the loaf of meat and served with the potatoes which are mashed.

Decision made: Home made clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls. No time to make the bread bowls myself since this was a last-minute decision. So, they came from a local bakery. :)
It's been a while since I've made clam chowder. IMHO, the only time I have better chowder is when I am on the coast. It's one of my braggin' meals

My hot Italian sausages, store bought Bertolli sauce and angel hair pasta pales into insignificance before your meal.I will be thinking of tequila soaked shrimp and filet mignon as I pick at my dinner tonight.
I find myself frequently wishing I lived in a more heavily Rush fan populated area. How fun would it be to get a gaggle of TRF people together like once a month for a huge feast? Life should be about eating, drinking and Rush.
It's about a 14 hour drive for me. Not too bad. In fact, I was up by Raymond and Aberdeen a few weeks ago visiting my cousin. I plan on going back soon. Maybe a day trip to Seattle is in order. ;)
As for dinner tonight, I am not sure. Off to the grocery store to make my decision.

I used to think about such things in school often. My Spanish teacher in high school in particular..... :)
As a female, I can't think of a teacher I actually had in HS that I would have bumped uglies with. But, I have imagined an English teacher who looked a lot like Geddy Lee...
Mmmm funny I've imagined a History teacher that looks a lot like Mr. Lee.
I wrote a short story about an English teacher in an all-girl school. His physical characteristics were pretty much Mr. Lee, but I used a different name ;)

He may be having some sexual issues of a physical nature. The newly trendy "low T" or maybe a circulatory issue. It might not be her at all. Then again, maybe it is? Not much to go on in this piece of writing.
But, I have to say that she probably should have talked to him about it before shooting it out on the internet. Or, she should have, at the very least, done this on a private forum or had submitted it anonymously. This is a private issue and needs to be kept that way.
And, Sheldon...your boners are always weird. :P
