Not this year. Everyone looked worried when the GOAT stopped chewing it's cud against the Packers. The Pats won't regurgitate another championship with this squad and there aren't any more trade deadlines.

 

Well you never really know with the Patriots. Last year I certainly think they were NOT good enough to get to the SB but somehow they did. That said I didn't even watch the second half of the SB, too tired to watch and besides I felt the Eagles were the far better team. This year it's the same, it just will be far more difficult for them to return to the SB.

As far as I can see the Patriots might be the 5th best playing team at the moment. The key will be that the Patriots will need to play at home in order to have a chance to get back to the Super Bowl and once there they will certainly be the underdog.

One should never count September losts when it comes to the Patriots. They usually straighten out things by October and this year they're playing better now that we are in November.

Just recovering from an all nighter hanging out on the tour bus with MF & Spearhead. We caught up with life and the families from Stolman Douglas HS. Michael visited the HS on Tuesday and pretty much spent the day their talking to students and faculty. That was a long winded ???. I'm beat from a couple Michael Franti shows in two states up north.

I love Franti! His shows are great fun!

 

Michael is a friend of mine from 2004, I’ve seen the him over hundred times. Gone on the road touring with him up and down the east coast and in Europe. His Philly show outstanding, fans dancing all over, in MD I had to leave half way through as my daughter was too tired to last through the show. I did get to talk to Michael in Philly setting up him and the band coming over to the house F Lauderdale in between the Key West show and FLL. They all said they’d come, our food and drink is way better than any hotel could provide down here. New album in January as he’s busy now with a 5 week old son that might come to the house as well.

So now I'm in Massachusetts for a funeral for my WWII veteran client who passed away on 911.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of (I am assuming a very special) client

 

He was beyond special, he was my patient for 4 years and I became a part of their family. Bob was an American hero who fought on the beaches of Normandy + 3 days under General Patton. Fought in the Battle Of The Bulge, he could speak German fluently as he became an interpreter who liberated two concentration camps for women. I ask forgiveness once again as I feel compelled to share this one story of many Bob’s heroism during the war which has nothing to do with this thread. At one of the camps he and his platoon of which less than a third survived came across a women who put her hand through a fence to meet his. She asked him *how old am I* being a 19 year old he was caught off guard and said *50* she replied *I’m 18 years old*. This hit him haaard as he was say with his New England accent as he is Jewish as well.

 

He was laid to rest in full military honor guard. When they played taps I started to lose it, then the folding of the flag which was laid over his coffin then handed over to his wife with an explanation I couldn’t hear all of it. I was so glad I had two handkerchiefs because I sure needed them. If anyone is interested or comfortable reading more about Bob I can post a link from my phone about his legacy and life in more detail.

Well the Red Sox finally have cooled off, time to pick up the winning pace the we’re on.

 

 

What are the odds the Cavs win a game?

I'd say pretty good, actually.

A game, yes, very good. Beyond one, ah.....no, it ends next Monday at the Oracle.

 

But what if the Cavs turn into the flaming dog turd bag and get swept? Riots in Cleveland?

 

No their fans are smarter than rioting in the streets. They will pray however that Lebron should stay in Cleveland instead of heading off to one of the Texas teams. They’re San Antonio or Houston. The best they can hope for is that he will stay and TRY and recruit stars to come to Cleveland and play. I believe he will head off to Texas and preferably the Spurs they’ve a better coach that likes to play defense. Back to hockey far more exciting than the predictability of this NBA series.

I picked the Caps in 6 but the way they're playing tonight it might not make it to 6 games.

Tie game I could see that goal from a mile 3-3
