I'm nearing 50 and have only eaten one peanut butter and jelly sandwich and that was about 2 years ago. As a kid I didn't eat jelly and as an adult that combination doesn't sound appealing. I finally tried one and it was just ok but one was enough.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that terribly annoying squealing pig on the GEICO commercial. He would make a nice, Christmas ham.

I keep reading how a cd sounds "warm" and "like vinyl". Good thing I have almost all of their releases on vinyl and many of them purchased while I was in Japan. I also have the MFSL version of [signals[/i] and I can't detect any difference. Then again, all that stuff along with power cables, amps, interconnects, etc is very subjective.

I was driving, it was dark, the road was wet, and the traffic was heavy. I try to leave just a little more space between myself and the person in front of me but some idiot decided that there was room to squeeze into. Had the person in front of him had to stop quickly he would have hit the person in front of him and I would have hit him from the back and probably gotten a ticket.

I've been as close as 3rd row, dead center and paid face value so I can safely say that there is no way I would pay more than face value for any seat in the house. If it was a band that rarely tours like Steely Dan or a band that reunited their core members like Yes (with Jon Anderson), I might be willing to pay a little more than face value. Not for Rush.

If you've watched many of their movies, you've no doubt seen a lot of the same people but in much different roles. Jeff Bridges is one of those people.

 

I don't watch many old westerns and I like all the Coen brothers movies so I'm looking forward to this.

I've owned and fired a 20 gauge shotgun, and a Springfield Armory 1911. I've fired a Beretta 9mm, M-16, .357 Magnum, .22 rifle, 12 and 410 gauge shotguns, and a Tec 9. Probably others too but they must not be that memorable.

There is too much money in bowl games for the NCAA to just walk away from. This year there are 35 bowl games and the NCAA will get a cut of every single one of them. If they went to a playoff system (like every other college sport) that would eliminate most of the bowl eligible teams.

 

I think a playoff of the top 8 teams after the bowl games would be sufficient to determine the real champion. They could do it in 3 Saturdays.
