  1. QUOTE (VampireBiscuits @ Nov 11 2009, 09:19 PM) QUOTE (Silas Lang @ Nov 6 2009, 08:22 PM) I could never get into Trek TNG...not enough action like in the original series It took me a while to warm up to Next Generation too. For a while I outright refused to watch it, its not as fun or campy as the original, not quite as warm w either, but once I really gave it a try, talked to some people who liked it and got some good episodes recommended to me- it really grew on me. When you get to know the characters its really a great show, and it does have some good action sequences. I ended up buying all 7 seasons just recently. Riker should've been captain

  6. Aerosmith had more musical diversity and depth than Van Halen. Greatest American band...The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Blue Oyster Cult. Anyone?
  7. QUOTE (KlanKaos @ Sep 21 2009, 12:25 PM) Not that I don't love Fountain of Lamneth, but I honestly don't appreciate it as much as 2112 or Hemispheres. It just lacks the finish of the other two. It's not as polished or refined. I also agree that it doesn't seem coherent - transitions between chapters are often harsh in that song, and sometimes it just doesn't seem to make sense. It's still fun to listen to, but it's not as great as it could be. I prefer it over Hemispheres because it's not as polished...lots of raw emotion in the vocals, the playing and the lyrics.
