  1. I'm just saying, I can like David Gilmour if I want. I shouldn't have to worry about people calling me ignorant or stupid due to my preference. I didn't realize that was tolerated around here. If you want to go see Roger Waters, then GREAT. I'm not going to hold you back or criticize you for that preference and while my initial statement was quite biased, I felt it was harmless as well. Some people just get too caught up in their own opinions and think everyone else should feel the same way they do. Yes, Roger Waters is a great musician (I guess its a 'FACT'... lol) but I was only saying I'd rather see Mr. Gilmour. I think he plays some amazing guitar. My apologies if I offended any Waters fans. Gotta tread lightly around here I guess...
  2. This is tearing me the f**k apart. I haven't been this mad in a LONG time. I'm on ticketmaster at 10 am the day they go on sale and get DECENT lower bowl seats. Then 4 days later, they have FLOOR SEATS available. NOW THEY'RE SHOVING THE DAMN STAGE FARTHER FROM ME. f**k THIS. I'm not sure who I should be angry with at the moment, but I hope it doesn't end up being Rush. It should be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Lazy people don't deserve better seats than me.
  3. I know they've always had props, I meant which CLASSIC props would you like to see again this tour? Like ones from previous tours (i.e. giant bunnies). I'm not saying I have inside info (like some here) and that they are going to do this. I'm just speaking hypothetically, its always fun to wonder.
  4. It is a Time Machine, so besides older instruments, what classic videos and props (for corresponding classic songs) would you like to see brought back to the stage? Giant bunnies sound pretty cool to me. Also, the Count Floyd video from The Weapon intro!

  5. HAHAH! The first choice is "Spirit of the Radio" ...for some reason it always bothers me when people get that wrong.

Anyway, I don't like any of these choices as an opener for this particular tour but if I had to pick one I guess it would be The Spirit of Radio. I'd rather see Subdivisions or Roll the Bones though.

  6. Rush said it best: Show, Don't Tell

How many times do you hear it?

It goes on all day long

    Everyone knows everything

    And no one's ever wrong

    Until later...

    Who can you believe?

It's hard to play it safe

But apart from a few good friends

We don't take anything on faith

    Until later...

    Show...don't tell...

    (Show me, don't tell me)

    You've figured 'OUT the SCORE'

    (Show me, don't tell me)

    I've heard it all before

    (Show me, don't tell me)

I don't care what you say

    (Show me, don't tell me)

  7. Rushnut, I got 4 tickets for section 110 (lower bowl, obviously) row U...and I couldn't be any happier! I was extremely lucky to find lower bowl tix, every other time I checked for tickets they were terrible, upper level seats. I'm not the closest to the stage, but I'm gonna have a GREAT view as its close to center, Al's side. Best seats I've had for Rush yet biggrin.gif
