I vote "Working Man" by a hair over "Finding my way"
-
My vote is for "One Little Victory". That song kicks a$$.

I grew up on the 80's "Metal" and, even then, I never thought of it as "Metal". To me it was always, at best, Hard Rock. That Metal Show is good to a point for what it is but should probably be called "That Hair Band Show". Rush, for me, was a break from all the cookie cutter songs about drinking, partying, having sex, and whatever else was being written about. Neils lyrics were thought provoking to me. I loved being able to read liner notes and read the lyrics as I listened. I really can't see a list of this type making any sense because the different styles of writing and subject matter. As someone else pointed out you can't compare Neil and Bon Scott.

My first show was April 17, 2011 at The Palace of Auburn Hills and I was speechless. I have been a Rush fan from age 14 on, with the exception of a few years in the late 80"s. I had to pass on an opportunity to see them on the Moving pictures tour and now I was there and they were playing Moving Pictures in it's entirety, how AWSOME! From the first notes of The Spirit of radio ( my all time favorite) to the last note of Working Man I stood and screamed the lyrics to every song. I LOVED IT!!!! My friend got sick and couldn't go so I got to share it with my wife, which made the evening all the better and now I'm working on her to become a fan. I will never miss them again!!!!

Awesome Show!!!!! It was my first time seeing them and I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!! I'm listen to the setlist on my iPod trying to embed the memories.

It came down to Subdivisions and The Analog Kid and I went with the Analog Kid. I just really gained an appreciation for this song so I went with it.

The Analog Kid... "The boy pulls down his baseball cap and covers up his eyes"

I wanted to include Sisko and Janeway but really wanted to deal with captains of the Enterprise.

Okay Trekkers (Trekies was 1960s-1970s) Pick the best Captain. My vote goes to Capt. Picard. Great leader, strong, intelligent... just plain great.

QUOTE (Prince Sphinc-Tor @ Mar 1 2009, 07:07 AM) Maybe they should have just compared which had the biggest "captains log". I don't think we should forget Christopher Pike, who commanded the Enterprise before Kirk. (think "Menagerie")
