Yes indeed especially in his Scotland kit - hope he doesn't inherit his dad's football skills otherwise he has no hope of wearing it for real.

QUOTE (Disco @ Jun 30 2005, 02:56 PM)
Yeah, but we had bottles of Thunderbird. Nothing better or classier than sitting on a park bench drinking from the bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag, ahh, sweet blissfull memories...Thunderbird - my god I had forgotten that .
Wehen we got really adventurous we made snakebies from Merrydown Cider and Special Brew - we called them atom bombs
-
When I were a lad....we had things tough...we had to learn to drink pints of bitter..dark brown and heavy on your stomach...fairly weak in alcohol so you had to force a few down to get drunk...or if you were really desparate slugging back your mates dad's whisky / brandy / vodka / gin neat out of the bottle
Nowadays kids don't know they're born - alcopops, jello shots, pre-mixed coktails in a bottle - getting pissed was never supposed to this easy.
Kids nowadays - don't know how lucky they are.

Not new music but the compilation is..
Big Guns, The very best of Rory Gallagher
a great Irish Blues guitarist, I remember seeing him live in Edinburgh in the early 80's and was blown away.
Highly reccomended.

Strongbow Cider - nice and refreshing on a summer's evening

Classic
One of my favourites was when an elderly chap came into the bar and explained that he hadn't been in the bar for 25 years, he observed that the bar had changed, that the stairs were in a different position, that the coulur scheme was different then turned round and said "Hi Norm"

After a few plays I have to give 4 stars for No Waiting For The Sirens Call.
Top Tracks Krafty & Guilt Is a Useless Emotion.
I am now in a quandry - they are appearing at the T in The Park Festival in the summer but on the bill at the same time as the Foo Fighters who do I see.

We have all been there - we have paid our cash, settled down with our coke and pop corn and the film hasn;'t been rivetting next thing .
What films have put you to sleep in the cinema.
My last one was Star Wars Attack of the Clones?

QUOTE (Arndrake @ Apr 3 2005, 03:16 AM) Private Ryan - The beginning as Older James is going through the gravestones and he collapses in tears. And the end where Young James is told to earn the gift he has been given, then the return to modern day as he finds the gravestone and asks his wife if he is a good man.
Braveheart - "Freedom" and Bannockburn. For some reason, kena and bagpipe music gets to me too.
LOTR Return of the King - The Grey Havens as Frodo leaves with the elves for Valinor. I always find myself weeping for those left behind.Andrake
Braveheart gets me too - I love seeing the English get their arses kicked.
