Seriously..I'm drooling. For real. I'm in love. wub.gif

And if Seven Cities doesnt blow me away in its entirety as much as the intro did...well, I cant imagine that would be true!

    omg!

  2. pretty much all of "Losing It"...the imagery and the implication tears at my heart each time I hear it.

But one specific lyric that invariably puts a lump in my throat?

    "Christ, what have you done?"

  3. Totally my wheelhouse too! Off the top of my head from what I see here

"The Most Beautiful Girl" Charlie Rich...makes me think of my mom! She used to play that all the time when I was little.

"Run Joey Run"...love that song! oh so dramatic!

"Hot Child in the City"...makes me feel just as good today as it ever did

"I love you"...such a treat when I hear it on the radio

oh I could go on and on, I sure am enjoying this thread!

I went to the Rush con in Toronto in 2006.....great time !
Had some great experiences. Even went up the great CN Tower..went to. that famous Lakeside Park and the Orbit Room . I cant afford to go to this one.

yeah, that was a great one! I remember the trip to St. Catherine's and eating a restaurant where the owner knew Neil as he was growing up.

RushCon 6 is definitely one of my favorites. RushCon 2 is probably my favorite in general. All the celebrating going on with the arrival of Vapor Trails and the tour. Great stuff!

My fave too! (ok RC2 was my only Con, but still my fave!)

    Oh no! sad.gif

'On the Radio' album I played a zillion times.

Always tried as a kid to hit that long note in Enough is Enough with Barbara without falling over. laugh.gif

    Definitely will be missed.

    Rest In Peace, DS rose.gif
    Thanks for the memories...

ha...you just brought back some memories of my own. smile.gif

I really did feel this rather keenly. Sad. As I said on FB, her music is so distinctly hers. RIP.

My "diet" has become a variation on what Michael Pollan espouses:

*Eat FOOD (real food, not low-fat, not low-carb, not sugar-free).
*Don't eat too much. Enjoy, and take your time.
    *Eat mostly plants.

That's it. I feel really great and I'm not bloated or puffy anymore. I think I've lost some weight but I don't weigh myself, so...I do know my clothes are getting loose. I drink a LOT of water because I crave it. Otherwise, I'm enjoying my food more than ever, and I eat REAL food.

I've actually been working back to that myself, eating FOOD. I'm not a big fan of fast food or packaged food, but its there, its quick...blah blah.

My blood pressure has gone up a tick lately, my cholesterol has always been high (familial), and I realize, except for the occassional go round with WW, I've been about the same weight since my son was born. This was a revelation to me! As I've been only about 15lbs lighter than my current weight as far back as HS, I may be fighting a losing battle. So, back to basics.

Softball season started, weather is warmer so I can do my walking again, my son is older so I can leave him for a spell if I want to Zumba or Yoga... I drink water every day cause there is a water cooler and 3 cases of water stored 3 steps away from my desk.

The biggest obstacle for me is changing my internal dialogue, which is much more negative than positive. That and wine. smile.gif

    Amen

Does anyone have similar pics of the the other two?

Seems St. Pratt gets his wings from Angry Birds.
