  1. I think I'd rather have fourth row seats at the show 2 hours from me, than have to drive another 2 hours past that for some more "decent" seats. And my wife loves them too! She says any seats are okay with her but she understands if I want to upgrade us to front row. She'll have her eyes on Alex the whole night either way... lol.

  2. So my wife and I already have tickets to Portland. It's a basketball arena, and our seats are on the side just past midcourt (away from the stage). I'm fine with those seats, even though I've been treated to floor seats (rows 16 and 18) the last two tours.

HOWEVER. I just found a pair of 4th row(!!!!!!!) tickets for just over 1000 total. I could sell our current tickets and move some money around and snag these within the week, but money would be tight for the next few months. Should I splurge or not?!?!?!

(this is probably the WORST place to ask this question lol)

  3. 2112 Overture (in original tuning)

    The Spirit of Radio

    Distant Early Warning

    Nobody's Hero

    Lakeside Park

    Limbo

    Kid Gloves

    Dreamline (with lasers)

Cygnus X-1 (reworked for Ged's voice)

    Intermission

    Limelight

    Fly By Night

    Subdivisions

    One Little Victory

La Villa Strangiato (with Alex intro)

Drum Solo (halfway through La Villa, Neil ends song)

    Alex solo

    The Trees

    Headlong Flight

    YYZ

R40 Medley Epics (Working Man, By-Tor, FOL, Xanadu, Jacobs Ladder)

    Tom Sawyer

    Encore:

    Far Cry

Hemispheres (tailored for Geddy's voice, cut off before the sphere)

All three guys join up downstage, Alex's guitar is still plugged in as they invite the audience along in singing "The Sphere." They bow afterwards and thank us for 40 years, and that's it.

  4. He is so so so underrated. He lacks a lot of the precision he used to have live, but it kind of fits the bands newer live style (and still sounds awesome). But in the studio, the man is a complete MASTER of his craft. The fact that he could turn out the solo in "The Garden" (probably his best solo since Limelight) this late in their career should cement him as one of the all time greats.

    Working Man

Some editing still to be done but I think this is pretty realistic. I truly think they are doing their best to really go out with a bang on this tour.
