QUOTE (Draco @ Mar 2 2012, 10:54 AM) QUOTE (GUP1771 @ Mar 2 2012, 08:51 AM) It's a very good cover until the guitar solo. It just felt out of place. I know they were trying to do their own thing at the same time, but the guitar solo threw me off. It's neat and all, but doesn't fit the song, in my opinion. Still, it's a great cover otherwise. I always appreciate bands that cover Rush, to make the song their own. Yet I have to agree with you GUP. The guitar solo is disjointed. A very good cover, but some improvements could be made.
Yes. I am quoting my own post.
I looked at the wrong video previously. I don't know what I looked at. Anyways, this version of Subdivisions is very well done. Very tight, and the drummer with the vocal ability ALONG with the drumming shows an extreme amount of talent.

I reported this post of yours, but I got an error message.
If that's the only bug, then you must be blessed!!!

Ok. That WAS funny! But why did I think that they were playing music that would accompany some really bad porn movie?

Skip Daly (who did this interview) is also the creator of http://www.rushpetition.com. I know he is going to revive it for this next coming tour.

QUOTE (invisibleairwaves @ Mar 2 2012, 09:43 AM) There's a pretty neat conference going on at MIT right now on sports analytics. Quite a few NHL GMs in attendance, including Brian Burke who has referred to Moneyball tactics as "horseshit". I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how much money he's spending on awful players.
Peter Chiarelli, on the other hand, discussed his team's work on scoring chance stats. But nobody's ever won anything with Moneyball, right?I'm an A's fan. Used to have season tickets. etc. Billy Beane did a lot with a little, but I have to agree. The ultimate prize is to be World Champion. Where is that trophy?

Phil, I have to agree with ya.
We are not worthy!

QUOTE (JackRelax @ Mar 1 2012, 10:41 PM) It's a little unclear what you are asking people to do. Is this fundraising? I suspect a property like that in land value alone would be in the multi-million dollar range. Just a guess. I would agree. Something like this is going to be in the millions of dollars easy. Just a bit out of our leagues.

To good not to share though.

QUOTE (invisibleairwaves @ Mar 1 2012, 05:59 PM) Saskatoon interested in an NHL franchise
With the promise of a reconditioned arena? I think the other cities mentioned (Seattle, Quebec City, Kansas City, or Las Vegas) either have a arena built, ore one that is firmly in place to be built. This is going to be a very tough sell to the NHL, and I for one don't think the NHL is going to buy.

Nice going!

Although the effort can be appreciated, this is something that just won't fly. Historic landmarks go by the wrecking ball all the time. To use another historic facility in Quebec, if the Montreal Forum can be turned into a shopping centre, and to be honest, if Yankee Stadium can come down, then I'm afraid Le Studio is going to meet the same fate. It's just not viable anymore, and whatever may happen to it, "in the name of progress", is going to happen.

Sabres win 2-0Nice win but they gotta get rid of those sweaty armpits.
It's the cool new style
Hey. Buffalo was the first NHL team to wear their numbers on the front of the jersey. Sweaty armpits are the cool new style.

And, we fight...

What the heck is with all the fights in the final minute?
