Very sad. He was a master of his craft. Police Squad is still one of the funniest TV's shows that has ever been made.

I hear ya. Those BDO festivals are awful. Luckily Tool are doing a stand alone show at the Brissie Entertainment Centre. Looking forward to finally seeing Mr Carey in action. -

Have just got tickets for Tool, who play in Brisbane on Jan 24. They've toured Australia several times before but this will be the first time I've seen them.
Not long after that, I'll be seeing Return to Forever.

Thought it was going to be Rush in Vegas, but it now appears it's gonna be Porcupine Tree in Vegas, the night before Rush.

We've still got a few episodes to go down here. Just watched the one where they were chasing the fly in the lab for most of the episode. Classic. Can't wait to see how the season finishes up.
Never heard of Rubicon, so can't comment on that one.

I just scored a freebie ticket to see Deep Purple next week. Wahoo, get to see Steve Morse, my fav guitarist. Not to mention I'm a huge DP fan anyhow. I think this will be the 4th time I've seen them.

I've only got Sleeping in Traffic Pt2, but have been meaning to add to that. Very 70's style prog. They remind me a little of Gentle Giants.

Season 3 finally started down here. Second episode tomorrow night. First one was great, not what I was expecting at all. Looking forward to see how it all unfolds.

how big is the rush fan base in australia?Extremely limited I'm afraid. Mainly the odd muso here and there, but that's about it. They only hope an Aussie fan has of seeing them is going on a 14 hour plane ride. Which, hopefully, is what I'll be doing in August.
