  1. Yup. 1960 Valiant. It does look like the 100 series (no chrome.) Who's next?
  2. I wouldn't have guessed Villager, you're pretty sharp. Thanks! http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h319/blazeriffic/old%20cars/Retro_1960_Chrysler_Valiant.jpg
  3. Very rare car. 1960 Edsel wagon. Ranger trim level?
  4. QUOTE (TullSkull @ Jun 3 2010, 08:46 PM) QUOTE (TullSkull @ Jun 3 2010, 06:18 AM)That beast be a 1959 Lincoln Continental Mark 5, 2 door hard top.. Dumb Shit!! That beast be a 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark 5 and the damn thing has 4 doors Yup, 1960. Ugly car, and one of the longest ones I've ever seen, except for a limo. Someone used to drive a flamingo pink one around here.
  5. OK, it's been a couple of days, so I'll go ahead and post another one. There's kind of a story to this picture. I drive by this car sometimes and thought it would be cool to post one of these since they're a bit odd and rare. I go to Photobucket... and that particular car is in there. It was in OK shape 20 years ago, but hasn't moved since. This what happened to it. what kind of car is this beast? http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p42/KDC64/Camping%20Oct%202009/a5f86f18.jpg
  6. QUOTE (hunter @ May 29 2010, 03:58 PM) VW 412? You got it!
  7. QUOTE (treeduck @ May 28 2010, 03:03 PM) QUOTE (Rushman14 @ May 28 2010, 02:50 PM) QUOTE (treeduck @ May 28 2010, 12:30 PM) QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ May 28 2010, 07:28 AM) Okay, I was never a hardcore Ozzy fan, but a casual one. I bought Blizzard and Diary when they were first released but after the cassettes (yeah, I'm old) wore out I never replaced them. So can anyone tell me when and exactly why they were redone? I do like the idea of these reissues and may pick them up. Whatever you do don't buy anything but the new reissues. Sharon had a big dispute with Bob Daisley (bass player/lyricist) after he sued Ozzy for unpaid royalities and she punished him and Lee Lerslake by expunging their performances from the albums on the 2002 reissues, adding two session players instead and ruining the recording in the process. wasnt it Rob Trujillo that re-recorded the bass parts? Yeah...I forget the drummer... The drummer was Mike Bordin from Faith No More.
  8. QUOTE (TullSkull @ May 28 2010, 02:35 PM) VW Fastback... About a 1970 Close... but not quite. They were sold here in the states for a couple of years, but flopped.

I do like the idea of these reissues and may pick them up. They were re-done to cut Kerslake's and Daisley's share of record royalties. I know Kerslake sued, though I don't know the outcome. I might get the new releases, might not. I still have my original vinyl.
  10. Does anyone remember these? http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n435/widdy50/VW%20Euro%201992/VW4122doorsaloon.jpg
  11. QUOTE (ILSnwdog @ May 27 2010, 02:23 PM) http://www.edmunds.com/media/reviews/generations/ferrari.gto/1962.ferrari.gto.500.jpg I'm not a real Ferrari expert, but I'll guess it's a 250 GTO.
  12. QUOTE (hunter @ May 27 2010, 08:34 AM) I posted that one way back in the thread. I actually owned one here in the states. Modified with a supped up pinto engine. It was quite fast. Ford Cortina. My bad! Musta been on the days I was working, I didn't remember. Yer up!
  13. OK... they actually did sell a few of these in the U.S. A high school buddy had one of these. http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm143/RoyCCC/2009/17_Classics_on_the_Green_05Aug09/P8050004.jpg
  14. QUOTE (ILSnwdog @ May 26 2010, 07:40 AM) QUOTE (rushlady23 @ May 25 2010, 05:52 PM) http://i970.photobucket.com/albums/ae187/donnaklose/IMG_0732.jpg Looks like a Ferrari 308 with some modifications. Take a look at the hood, windsheild and front fender area. Someone either modified, or bought a kit to modify an '80's Z-28 Camaro into a Ferarri 308.
  15. Chrysler Newport? 1967 or '68.
  16. This monster is the last one of these built... http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm142/fleetliner/desoto020.jpg
  17. I swear I've seen that car in a Gran Turismo game. Subaru 360?
  18. Isn't that an old Datsun prototype? ('66 maybe) They tried a 2-seat car like that but it was considered too conservative for the American market. Two years later, the 240-Z was on the drawing boards.
  19. http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q49/Forwardlook/TampereSwapMarch312007011.jpg ...how about this?
  20. The first Monte Carlo. 1970. Nice car.
  21. Eastwood by a country mile. Hard to top Dirty Harry. Or the Outlaw Josie Wales. I never got into John Wayne. Maybe he's a generation too far back for me.
  22. I was thinking its a Crosley of some sort. Tiny car, tinier wheels.
  23. QUOTE (TullSkull @ Apr 26 2010, 04:39 PM) OMG .. I have not see a Ramp Side in decades. Oh what happened to Corvair? I saw a '65-'69 coupe in someone's yard on my trip to the Okanogan last weekend. Looked well-preserved at a glance. Yer up, dude.
  24. OK, then... try this one out. http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv240/gehsalida/Corvair%20Rampside/CorvairRampsidePickup006.jpg
  25. Stanley Steamer? Jay Leno has one of those (of course...)
