This year I'm traveling from CT to NYC, Cleveland, Seattle/The Gorge, and possibly Phoenix. My rule is that I'll drive up to 3 hrs to see Rush (most of NE and NY), and I'll fly to places I have family and friends - so I've been to Seattle, Phoenix, and Denver before. I've also driven to Philly (over 3 hrs, but I have a friend there), and Toronto (9 hr drive, but I *had* to make it to Toronto at least once!). Cleveland doesn't fit my "criteria" - but it's a special concert with lots of people going! Can't wait for it!

I got an email from TicketMaster today about VIP packages - but they were just trying to get me to buy another VIP package to another Rush concert or some other concert. I read the email very carefully - but it had nothing to do with the VIP package I already bought. Well, it took 2 months after last year's concert (almost 6 months after buying the VIP package) to get the swag, so I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for it this year!

I'm curious about some TRFers' comments about The Gorge in Seattle. I've never been - but I was under the impression that it's a really cool venue. Today I've seen some people say they hate it. So I'm wondering - do you like concerts at the Gorge or not, and why? [i've flown out from CT to see Rush at White River, and I really didn't like White River. It was just like any other shed, and the traffic afterwards was the worst I've ever been stuck in. I've always said I want to go back to Seattle to see Rush at The Gorge - so I'm planning it for this year.] Thanks!
