  1. Well, for you it is. And it gives me an idea for a member title for you. :) Slappy?
  2. This is a special thread for those in the know.
  3. Some of Roll the Bones sounds like it was influenced by Billy Joe's Stormfront. Those repeating lines in You Bet Your Life remind me of We Didn't Start the Fire. Heresy recalls Leningrad for me a little and maybe some other track (maybe And So It Goes). Ghost of a Chance has lyrics "state of grace" which is a track on Stormfront. I don't know why but the album has a similar vibe to me. Storm Front was released in October 1989 and was a huge poppy hit and Roll the Bones was an effort at being poppy released in 1991... Take what you will from this.
  4. I don't wear ponts. Then that means you're definitely pontless ;)
  5. Yes! It's not like they've ever rereleased these on vinyl before. I can't believe people are calling this a cash grab.
  6. No drum solo versions.... It's Zumbi vs pure YYZ
  7. It was brief but we won't forget you
  8. So was this accurate? Yup. What's the quote? I seached the blog for "atlanta", "georgia", and "may" and got nothing about a tour. Then I searched "screw this" and found Spaghetti Lee. Read the entry and find out! No, I don't have time to read that. You don't have time to read Neil's blog, but you took the time to create and evaluate obscure TRF user statistics. Meh, man. That took 3 minutes. Can I read Neil's blog in under 3 minutes? (Or stay awake for 3 minutes?) There's your next project, SG. Make a pie chart outlining the content of Neil's blog -- ALL of it! Better get started now... :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: No, I have to play with myself.
  9. I'm not sure who the bride is going to be. I'm already spoken for. That's a relief No kidding. Well there's always the imagination.

Just go on, find out and read for 3 mins, it can change your life in so many ways. :codger: It could end it too...I'm not risking that.
  11. And I don't need that anwyay since I view the entire forum as one big spam thread.
  12. Indeed he would... too bad he pretends to have the dignity not to. Len, it is a creepy place. What place is this? If I don't know of it then it's not important. The Spam thread they have. The place that shall not be named... Did you say something?

  16. People like LedRush and CygnusX1BKBoiler (whatever his name is) who try to find others opinions or reactions (and think of it as objective "data") in an effort to validate their own perspectives and opinions as an objective "fact". Are you referencing posts made in SOCN? He's referencing posts made in the main forum. I know what he's referring to, and I don't have SOCN access: LedRush acted as if his opinion of certain songs/albums represented the community as a whole, while CX1BK2 did the same for the band members themselves (and acted as if that viewpoint was "objective") Edit: just saw sg26's response... oops You explained it better. I'm sure it could apply to stuff in SOCN but I don't pay that much attention to what's posted there as it's mostly a bunch of pseudo-important hot-air.

  18. right here :hi: you're with us in the "Pontless Spammers" demographic dammit! Fixed
  19. And "attention whores" but I guess that could apply to every "jerk"
