  1. Thanks Magnus... great questions BTW, and tough too! I lived in Canada when I was young but that was in the mid 60's so I didn't have a clue on your first question. confused13.gif laugh.gif

    Anyway, here's the next...

Who were the first two "Pythons" to work together (obviously, before they were Pythons!)? And if you care to, tell me what were they in together, and when?

  2. Yea, I saw this! I've got the Looney Tunes Golden Collection 4-disc box set, and there's a second 4-disc set now out there! These are great!! I can't imagine not having these! They're timeless, they don't need 'updating'... there's nothing to update... they're classics! I watch 'em with my daughter all the time. I can't wait to get that new second series set! And as interesting looking as the "redone" characters look, I say leave it be. But they won't.

    Colin's getting his own show..

    Getting Along Famously

    it looks pretty good..& if i know Colin..  wink.gif  biggrin.gif  laugh.gif

SM, the site won't load but..idk if it was that one, but i took a quiz one time that told me i was Colin!!

Wow... I had no idea... thanks HS007! applaudit.gif

Unfortunately, it's in Canada only! sad.gif I found this on it too:

CBC has ordered 6 episodes to start. The show will not be shooting just yet - they'll only be making plans to shoot once they have everything officially in place, and that will not be til Mid-May.

Now my only hope is green screen, and here's the latest on that...

...from executive producer Ron Diamond (just quoting the relevant parts):

The WB is waiting to see how their season shapes up. If you follow the

ratings, you'll see that things are tough over at the WB. Unfortunately,

Drew Carey's Green Screen Show is not a big priority there right now. There

is no word if or when they'll bring back the show. I may be in denial, but

no one at the network had used the "C" word to me. So I remain optimistic

    that something could still happen.

There's interest at Comedy Central in the show but I don't know the status

of a deal and due to limited programming time slots, we're waiting to see if

anything could come about for the springtime.

  4. OK Schro, now you reminded me of the Japanese action/drama serial... and I'm trying to think of it's name... he used to cross his arms and some kinda 'ray' shot out... silver suit I think... with an elongated silver helmet/headpiece... damn, what's it's name... THAT'S IT.... ULTRAMAN! 653.gif

  5. Sarks' thead on Land of the Lost got me thinking about the HOURS of Saturday mornings I spent with a bowl (or three! or more!) of cereal in front of that T.V. set drool1.gif

So, I was wondering, what shows do you remember watching. Not nessesarily your favorites either, just any shows that you might have watched. I'll start with a couple quickies off the top of my head...

Looney Tunes (OF COURSE! But feel free to list 'em seperately too, if you want)

    H. R. Puff 'n Stuff

The Banana Splits (I think is was called?)

    What else....?

  6. Listen, lad. I've built this kingdom up from nothing. When I started here, all there was was swamp. All the kings said I was daft to build a castle in a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. An' that's what your gonna get, lad -- the strongest castle in these islands.

Now listen lad, in twenty minutes you're getting married to a girl whose father owns the biggest tracts of open land in Britain.

    But I don't want land.

    Listen, Alex,--

    Herbert.

Herbert. We live in a bloody swamp. We need all the land we can get.

    But I don't like her.

    ........

  8. My daughter watches a ton of kids show that are made in Canada (they are some of the best out there!) but none of them have 'hosts' so I have no clue! confused13.gif The Wiggles are Aussie and the only ones I know of, or can think of at the moment, that are Canadian would be the Kratt brothers, so that's my very lame and certainly wrong guess... I'm gonna say Chris and Martin Kratt! sad.gif smile.gif
  9. Just ran across a review of the musical "Spamalot" with some pictures too...

I noticed this too, Jack, the last item on the bottom of the page at the above link, they talk about the limited edition spam cans and they say they're gonna be available in limited quantities at "select NYC retailers and the Shubert Theatre."

How you English say, I one more time-a unclog my nose in your direction, sons of a window-dresser!  So, you think you could out-clever us French folk with your silly knees-bent running about advancing behavior! I wave my private parts at your aunties, you heaving lot of second-hand electric donkey bottom biters.

Don't be a second hand donkey bottom biter! rofl3.gif

Yea, that's right... it takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but in time (and with the help of a good trainer), you too can be a 'first-rate' donkey bottom biter! laugh.gif

In the name of the Lord, we demand entrance to this sacred castle!

No chance, English bedwetting types. I burst my pimples at you and call your daughter an unrequested silly thing. You tiny-brained wipers of other people's bottoms!
