Just got yelled at by a teacher... bad.

Didn't help that she obviously didn't take time to calm down before she confronted me, making it much worse than it could have been.

    What did you do ???

Teachers don't usually go off for nothing...

I know I usually have a REALLY good reason. laugh.gif

No it was totally my fault. Doesn't keep me from getting upset. 1287.gif laugh.gif

    Totally understandable.

Lyndsey - I would definitely get it checked. Trust me on this.

I'm meeting with the anesthesiologist Monday. Supposedly they're going to do "twilight" sedation on me...I've always been under general anesthesia when I've had other surgeries, so I'm kind of freaking a bit and wondering if I can convince them to just put me under. It's not like they need me to be conscious enough to move around. I really don't see why they'd even consider the twilight method. They're cutting me open, for pete's sake.

Also I seem to have developed some sort of allergic reaction to something around my biopsy site. I'm wondering if it's a reaction to the clip they put in to mark the tumor. If that's it, I suppose the problem will be resolved when they do the surgery.

I'd tell the doctor about any reactions, and definitely ask to be put out with a general. You know what you can handle, and they don't!

  4. I distrust contractors who tell a woman one thing, and a man another...

don't get me started on my roofer.

Anyway, I was not prepared for all of the work that goes into a house, even though I did a lot of research. My job is so high stress, that I probably should have gone with a condo.

However, I love my gardens, being able to walk down to the basement in my bathrobe, and have dinner on the back porch on a whim.

So, I'll deal with the repair/replace/fix/ touch up stuff, so I can enjoy the rest of it.

Yesterday for Religion class I had to lead this little prayer service thing, and part of it was reflection with music in the background. I played some basic YouTube 'relaxing music.'

But I also snuck in King Crimson - Prelude: Song of the Gulls and Camel - Preparation.

The next time I have to do this, I'm playing "Hope". biggrin.gif

  7. Actually it was yesterday, but I've seen it happen over and over.

How can you take your young children somewhere for an extended visit and not have anything for them to play with? You have their food, change of clothes, diapers, sippy cups, and no toys? Really?

Yesterday I had two 4 year olds and a 2 year old with nothing to do. There were also 2 babies in the crowd...but I didn't have anything for them.

Luckily I had a few stuffed toys for the older ones to clown around with, but I don't have children, and all of my toys have been taken to school for my students to use during indoor recess.

How hard is it to keep a couple of things in the diaper bag?

Took liberties with the magnetic letters in the play room.

In case there was any doubt...
