  1. There's a really good joke here, but I'll leave it to someone else.

    Hint: use the following diagram

Hope she doesn't have a stick side. Course you could always set up behind her and try to jam it in.

  2. Horton has received shots prior to each game to deal with the pain, and though his shoulder has popped out of its socket at points during the playoffs, Wednesday’s occurrence, when he bumped into Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson in front of the Chicago net on a Bruins power play, was the most painful thus fair. His shoulder was popped back in after he left the ice, but he was in too much pain to return to the game.

Dear lord are these guys ever tough!

You mean unlike the girls in MLB who sit on the DL for turf toe?

    Hockey players Vs. MLB girls:

Despite the fact the baseball is the only sport besides hockey I really enjoy anymore (and even then, only in the NHL offseason), this Texas Rangers injury tweet today fit too beautifully:

"Of course. @aandro: Jeff Baker's thumb was hurt yesterday in pregame by overzealous teammate giving him high five. Bent thumb back to wrist."

  3. I wonder what colour socks Lifeson wears? Does Lee fart in the halls of the mighty? Does Peart use tena-man?

    Do we f***ing care?

Yeah I had to look that last one up as well.

I think Geddy might just fart. In San Diego I was right in front of him and the whole front row almost got knocked out not once but twice.

Either that or one of the security guards had brussell sprouts before going to work that night.

That's the kind of thing that would be awesome about being a rock star. Being able to have incredibly bad farts and people still rock as the dealer silently laughs? Awesome. Kinda like that Tommy Lee/Nikki Sixx thing seeing how long they could go without showering and still get laid.

  5. Dreger saying Horton's injury isn't too bad, but doubtful for game 2. I guess we get to see if old man Pando still has the old cup-winning drive left in him from Jersey. Can't see Soderberg stepping in on this stage.

I've heard that Caron might get the call.

Always forget about that guy! Anyway, sticking him with Pevs and Daug Man can't be too bad... And maybe having Seguin up with Krejci & Looch will get him rolling again! Man, Saturday needs to get here NOW.

I know what you mean. I was thinking during the game yesterday that if we lose, I'm gonna feel like crap at least 'till Saturday.

Instead you get to hear Shaw screaming "I love shin pads!" after the goal.

Yeah, I heard Horton didn't have a problem putting on his jacket after the game. Anyway, how do you hurt your shoulder just by pushing a guy in open space?

It wouldn't be a Cup Final without a Horton injury :16ton:

  8. You are a worm, Crosby. Starting in with a goalie. Don't you dare whine when Thornton comes after you Monday night.

I didn't hate the Leafs or the Rangers. I despise the fat little birds who can't fly.

edit: drunk rambling, sorry guys... I'll stand by the fact that regardless of the outcome, seeing Bergy drop the gloves made me smile a great smile. Also, love that Vokoun is being Vokoun again.

  9. Stephen Walkom owes Brent Seabrook a two-four at the very least.

I'm guessing that 2-4 is a case of beer? Is that a Canadian thing, cuz I've never heard that one before. :eh:

Yeah. More of an Eastern Canadian thing though, so maybe Seabrook wouldn't be familiar with the term either.

Bob & Doug taught me that phrase

  10. No chance. It is not even in my top 3 from Clockwork Angels (probably my 4th or 5th favorite), much less top 5 overall. Better than 2112, La Villa Strangiato, Xanadu, Natural Science, Red Barchetta, Jacob's Ladder or YYZ? Let's be serious.

We are always entitled to our opinion, that's what forum's like this are for.....so no one can say you are right or you are wrong about your feelings about any topic...

I am just surprised that people don't have more love for HF.....

For me, HF blows away Jacob's Ladder, but again, its just how I feel.

The first time I heard HF I said instant Rush classic, to be put on the mantle right next to all the songs you listed....

That was the way The Anarchist hit me at first, and has since gotten even better. Not so much Headlong Flight, but my f**k does HF jam, too.
