Depending on the venue, it can be great. My first show was in Dallas on row 20, Geddy's side, and it was spectacular (even with the first show bias aside). At the risk of sounding extremely callous, it was also behind a handicap-accessible row, so we didn't... yeah...

Discovered that Wayne's World is on Netflix. So much for the work I meant to do tonight. Excellent.

I'm a little pissed at LSU for dropping that game. It would've been so much more fun for them to come into Kyle Field undefeated. Hopefully we'll start seeing more of the A&M team that beat the everlivin' hell outta South Carolina against Arkansas. This team could be scary good with a fully healthy defense.

Hey guys! Haven't been around much lately, but since I'm sick today, thought I'd catch back up on the boards! Anyway, got to meet Coheed last week:

That Bruce Willis Honda commercial was rude. I had to hug my Clockwork Angels Blu-Ray.

I wonder if that salute to the crowd afterwards was sincere, or a sarcastic jest towards the large amount of Leafs fans there
Take your shitty beer and GTFO!
Also, Robidas's leg... holy f**k

What the f**k happened out there? Recorded the game because I had to drive my buddy to the airport and run some errands... If superstition holds true (sorry Neil), this is the last goddamn time I let real life get in the way of hockey!

I really enjoy a lot of the Texas music scene. I guess for an equivalency, let's put Cody Canada & The Departed and Mastodon on the same level of enjoyment.

This Thanksgiving week off is pretty spectacular. Getting to enjoy some actual time at home enjoying my new place!

The seed was plated, the roots have taken and the trees has grown and will always be there. Sometimes you just have to explore the rest of the forest.
Which TRF member will be the first to use this on his/her spouse/significant other? Science must know.

This thread probably doesn't belong in the food section. Where should it go, to RS?
For sure. I just put it here because it's a beer bike.

We did our fantasy draft tonight, first time I've done a live draft, and it was a blast. Potential late-round steals: Dupuis, Gallagher, Hossa. Looking good so far!

I won this in a raffle at my favorite bar:

I won one of the Fat Tire cruisers made by Felt last night!!! My usual bar was having a one year anniversary party & St. Baldrick's fundraiser, so for $20 in raffle tickets, I got this beautiful machine:

Scott's a moron, Clarkson even more so.
What the hell was Kessel thinking running around with his stick? He's lucky his brain didn't tell him to connect.
True. Connecting on Scott with a regular old stick would just provoke him. Really should have gone with a 9 iron.

Scott's a moron, Clarkson even more so.
My favorite part is Kessel giving Scott a little poke while he was busy with Clarkson & the refs. Like teasing a silverback at the zoo.

A guy at work gave me glass seats for the Stars game last night since he couldn't go. Never been that close, and it was fantastic to see the NHL uniforms back on the ice, even if it was just preseason Stars and Panthers!

JFF seems, at least from our seats, to have kept his head a lot more in check the past 2 games. Sumlin must have really torn him up after the Rice game. Also, even during an early afternoon game, when Kyle Field is usually much quieter because of the heat, I've never heard Kyle Field as loud as it was during the opening minutes of that game yesterday. Absolutely electric. Not to mention when 87,000 lost their collective shits after the 95-yard TD. Hell of an experience, miss sitting in the student section!
Also, here was the view from our seats about 45 minutes before kickoff (9th row, the Zone):

And the scene from Rudder Tower well before the game:

Same here. Walking around downtown before the show was weird:closed restaurants, nobody there. It seemed like the only people in town had on Rush shirts, and like you said, we were all out-of-towners.
