MAY 7TH!!!!!!!! You can't come fast enough!

Has anyone ever gotten tickets that good from Ticketmaster without doing the auction? I have a searing hatred for Ticketmaster.
Wouldn't be surprised if it were MusicToday, though. Patience can pay off with some really sweet seats from there.
-
Absolutely. Relatively hopeful that I can score some nice tix from the music today presale for Columbus. It's the waiting...man...the waiting. Can't take it.
-
In 2010 I looked at presale tickets for a little while but was unable to afford them at the time. I managed to find 7th row tickets fairly quickly. I wasn't using any tricks. I was only on one computer.
I'm hoping to have that kind of luck when I do the presales this year.

QUOTE (Snaked @ Apr 24 2012, 12:16 PM) QUOTE (GeddyLeefan2112 @ Apr 24 2012, 01:04 PM) I hope this helps me when it comes time for the Columbus presale. I didn't get ideal tickets in 2010 because I was tight on money. That is not the case this year and I really hope I find good tickets because I would hate to get bad seats based on bad luck alone. The biggest trick is to learn one simple principle - "Don't Panic!" (thank you Douglas Adams).
It sounds cheesy or downright arrogant but if you establish a REASONABLE range of where you want to sit you WILL find it as long as you're persistant.
Maybe not on day 1 of presales - maybe not even in the first 4 weeks.... but eventually it'll happen as long as you check frequently and don't give up.
I would like to sit in the first 10 rows and obviously I would like to sit on Geddy's side. Siiiigh. The waiting for the presale is killing me. I just want to get it over with. I have a feeling that I will spend most of my work day attempting to find the ideal tickets.

Wow it sounds so much cleaner. This rocks hard.

Yeah I got tickets in 2010 using the Citi presale because I put in a password I had found and then paid with a separate card. Seems they fixed it so you can't do this anymore.

I would love to get a Meet and Greet. I tried the radio contests two years. I'll try them again this year. See if I get lucky.

It was an okay movie. The book was much better. I have seen it twice now. I took my younger sister to see it the second time and I actually enjoyed it much more the second time. However, its just can't be compared to the book. It's actually quite disappointing because I expected so much more from it.

The Cabin in the Woods was excellent. I work at a small, locally owned theater and I'm hoping we receive a copy of it soon so I can see it again multiple times for free.
-
The Hunger Games for the second time with my sister.
The last movie I saw before that though was Cabin in the Woods. Thoroughly enjoyable.

QUOTE (Unattractive Truth @ Apr 19 2012, 11:33 AM) QUOTE (GeddyLeefan2112 @ Apr 19 2012, 09:14 AM) I'm thinking about going the VIP route this year but I'm not entirely sure. This will be my 3rd show ever and I really want to have good seats as I don't have many options to see them. I'm not adverse to shelling out some cash for tickets but I want to know what seats I am getting if I do the VIP thing. I know the fan presales have some pretty good seats and prices too. I'm just not sure. The VIP Packages don't work like that. You get a range of possible seats (usually rows 1-15), but you don't find out where you are until you get to the venue.
Yeah that really sucks I would really like to know where I would be sitting.

QUOTE (FOH Lights @ Sep 20 2010, 10:37 AM) QUOTE (Pause Rewind Replay @ Sep 20 2010, 08:49 AM) It will be a pathetic shame if this tour isn't filmed just because either Neil or some suit in marketing doesn't want him seen on DVD wearing headphones. There will NOT be a DVD of this tour and it's not because of Neil's headphones (ear infection early on related to IEMs). Right now, the plan is to go back into the studio to finish the album after Brazil. Do a 3 month mini-tour in September 2011, followed by a full blown, album promoting tour in 2012. DVD to follow that one.
Oh this would be excellent news...srsly... I don't think I can drop a ton of money again next year for tickets... Omg this is the best news I've heard in a while.

I think people need to stop being so hung up on the idea of a full album in the set list. If it happens, it happens. While I think Clockwork Angels will be a fantastic album, playing the whole thing, either set, would be a mood killer. I understand its a concept album but it will also be a new album. You need some old classics to break it up and keep the momentum going.
Of course this is all imo.
