Now, I love my students, and I love to say hello, but after I say "Hi", there's kind of this awkward moment . . . just kinda weird!!! . . . try doing a parental conference in a bikini!!! I was in the ER in a Johnny once last year trying to cover my brighter side when I ran into a student who was also a patient in the hall. So I got to meet his Mom, etc. Two of the nurses were also former students! Like I said, they're everywhere!!! This probably sounds like I'm complaining but I'm really not. In fact most of the time I have great fun with the kids. It's just that there's no such thing as a quick trip to the grocer or mall for me in my job. Sometimes, especially after a long day at work, I have no energy for a long conversation over a grocery cart full of personal products!. It gets interesting!!!
