latest 'I just stumbled across it' good fortune
if you're looking for an instant contemporary instrumental collection (downtempo ambient electronica experimental) well here's one hell of a collection
417 tracks (almost 38 hours) from absolute nobodys to some of the biggest names (Future Sound Of London, 808 State, Amon Tobin) and everyone else in between
donation? $19.70 (that's under .05 a track)
I've been listening for close to an hour and already like more than half of what I've heard so I know I'm going to come out way ahead here - and most of these tracks are exclusive to this comp
of course you can listen to the entire thing for free on the bandcamp site (I cherry-picked a dozen songs first, liked what I heard and then just bought in)
the donation to Macmillan Cancer Support (one of the largest British charities, since 1911) is a bonus
