  1. Today I am blessed with severe joint pain. It's a bitch going up and down the stairs and taking the dog out. However, wouldn't trade her for anything, she keeps me going. Literally. Love that daft old girl

Sorta a good on top of sad today.

  2. Actually feel a bit sick but it's all in the karma of altruism I suppose? I spent £80 today on someone out of the goodness of my heart. Do not expect anything in return. Still, I'm not made of cash either. Dithering back and forth but yes, it is a good thing I did. They need it and I could help. :)

  3. I asked the ESA one crucial question and they decided maybe I wasn't fit for work after all. So. No more stress from them. Drops in the bucket. I guess they add up eventually. :bitchslap:

Sound like a bunch of butt wipes....

    Aye. Government butt wipes.

I'm concerned when the government who hires a non medically trained person, makes a decision on my health contrary to my doctor's advice based on years of treatment.

Why do I even see a doctor I ask you? Why don't I just phone one of you people up and ask them if I'm ok?

Bunch of paid lackeys trying to fill a quota :rage:

  4. Best fit I've found is LaRedoute bootcuts. I am short but highwaisted so need a little longer in the leg than petite jeans so go with regular.

Bootcuts are the most flattering fit, especially for us "rounder" people, so I stick with that cut. Sometimes I will buy skinny jeans if they are on sale (like £5 Matalan specials) but only wear them when painting.

I have like two other types of trousers, but prefer jeans to anything. And do not ever wear skirts or dresses.

No kinky rubber nurses outfits then???

I have an aversion to rubber outfits or I'd be wearing them all the time. :chickendance:

  6. My project has begun. Psyched.

    Well kinda.

    Whatever. It is in motion.

All of the stones I put out have vanished! Obviously people need love, hope and all that. Planted more today and collected more to paint and distribute. Rock on. (That's a pun though you would be excused for not knowing). Now to stop falling every time I'm out! Next, a zimmer frame ugh.

It just occurred to me the stones vanished because they were deemed unsightly. Shitty.

:| Shitty indeed. And now my "like" for your original post about the stones vanishing seems rather untimely...that's what I get for falling behind in a thread!

I suppose at least you are provoking a reaction, though of course I prefer the idea of folks taking the rocks out of appreciation. It reminds me of a personal experience with exhibiting my art. I'd been accepted for a solo show within a juried exhibition spread across multiple venues, and landed the best lit and highest traffic one. Fabulous! Then the venue management saw my work and read my artist statement...and deemed my work too controversial for their establishment. The curator found a new venue for me and when my works sold and I got some press, she received a formal apology from the original venue  I was elated to have been declined by that venue--it felt like a significant accomplishment in my career!

That is a significant purpose of art; to create controversy. Well done!

Kind of foolish of the gallery but at least you got exposure.

I hung painted wooden butterflies (small ones) and little model horses customised, some with glow in the dark features for the little ones ( or not yet grown up adults). They've all been taken so ... success! Hope I made someone's day xx
