  1. YAY!
  2. Well I just ordered an Epiphone Pro/Fx. So I need to sell another guitar to finance this bridge or saddles to put in it to get my cheapy Alex Axcess. Gonna wait til I see if I really like the Epiphone though. Always been more of a strat guy.
  3. Just a little messing with the software for fun. You know the song that inspired it. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e372/biffmalibu01012/TAK.jpg

  5. That Jensen was tough. Does that grill plate swivel to allow air in? Next: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4071/4589139004_f85fba1665_z.jpg

  10. QUOTE (micgtr71 @ Feb 6 2011, 05:11 AM) QUOTE (Tarkus406 @ Feb 5 2011, 08:52 PM) Eh...I'm a Floyd Rose guy The only problem I ever had with Floyds was the fact that it was so difficult to change strings. I hear that. It's not as hard when you use the same gauge and change one string at a time. then it generally stays in tune. That's one thing about the trem king that intrigues me. The fact that you can break a string and it'll stay in tune.
  11. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Feb 3 2011, 12:38 PM) Never heard of it, but it looks interesting. The only thing I'd be hesitant about is the zero point return thing. That sounds very much like Hipshot's Tremsetter which replaces one of the tremolo springs. It has an indent that creates a zero point that the bridge clicks into when you let go of the bar, allowing it to return to the exact pitch every time. Only problem with that is it makes it difficult to use the bar to "shimmer" a note or chord because you're always flirting with that indent. Other than that it sounds pretty cool. But I'd have to try one out before buying to see if that zero point is a pain in the ass to work around. Yeah. That's my concern as well. I've read a couple of reviews that said there's is "spot" you can feel at the zero point but no clicking into place. I don't mind floating tremolos as long as they return to tune. My Floyd and my fender system one are rock solid. I had a Wilkinson that was solid too. My newest wilki doesn't always bring back the A and G strings though. All the other strings are fine but the a and g come back sharp. Drives me nuts. There's also this one for Strats. Super Vee

  17. So Here's one I've been messing with. 80's ish Alex Tone Sounds great with the delay on for Middletown Dreams. Just roll off the volume for the beginning.
  18. 1988 325i ?
  19. I don't have pod farm but I have gear box, pod farms predecessor. I can get close but not quite exact. Part of it is Alex seems to use several tacks of different tones to get his sound and I can't get that in gear box straight out. I can get it multi-tracking. Should I upgrade to pod farm?
  20. Yes.

  24. You booked reservations at the Marine Room in La Jolla. Not because of the great food or awesome view, but because it's on Spindrift Drive.
