I still haven't watched it but a fan group released a version called The Matrix DeZionized which I believe is the entire trilogy but with all the stupid underground city dancing and pontificating crapola removed.

You guys should really see the RUSHIAN Matix.
Sort of like Dark Side of the Rainbow synch project but with Rush dubbed over it - largely Grace Under Pressure.

Never heard of it. I'll have to locate some when I visit Pittsburgh for the first time for the upcoming Rush show. They're a really good band you might like. If you live in PA you should consider checking that band out! TRUST me!

Good old Amazon.com. I am quite a bit into bizzare films / horror gore and foreign so I'll often use Amazon.com to search for a movie I liked and then check out the list of what other people who bought that also bought.
This is how I was introduced to Audition, Ichi, Izo... piles of stuff.
Also their aren't exactly PILES of heavy metal DVDs out there so I'll also search for metal DVDs and then see what other people have picked up, Very useful!
Anyone else use Amazon for this?

I really really want to see that. I saw an awesome interview with Forest Whitaker and it was amazing his take on the movie and also the preparation he put himself through for that part.

Myself I'd have to say that extreme video vertigo aside and also the fact that pretty much the ENTIRE film was pretty disturbing...
The bar / fire extinguisher scene from IRREVERSIBLE was pretty bad in my books.
One of those "impossible to watch / impossible to look away" type of moments.
Eeek.

Either way it's just a matter of time til PS3. I think Matrix on BluRay (along with Predator already released) will be the straw-that-broke-the-camels-back so to speak.
Sony ALWAYS kicks ass in the long run - look at games like Guitar Hero or Katamari Damacy for example.
Oh plus I am currently afflicted with 360 'red ring o death' syndrome. Grrrr.

I wont be surprised to see something crazy happen.
Not a directly related book to 2012 apocalypse but a great book - "Fingerprints of the Gods" by Graham Hancock discusses a lot of the evidence of a long lost advanced civilization on Earth and talks a lot about possible extinction causes, Mayan beliefs all that sort of stuff.
Real good read (unless you're scared of that stuff).
Anyways I am pretty convinced. I've already been scoping out stores where they have "Don't pay a dime until 2013!" specials.
