  1. The Pass is such a beautiful song. I know I run the risk of the wrath of the Rush brethren (and sisteren, is that a word? ) but I actually like War Paint and Superconductor too!
  2. QUOTE (HAZMAT001 @ Aug 28 2004, 06:15 PM) The SEEKER rocked live
  3. I suck so unbelievably bad at this game
  4. QUOTE (RushRevisited @ Aug 27 2004, 03:25 PM) QUOTE (Snowdog @ Aug 27 2004, 04:23 PM) I don't care how many times I've heard it, I could listen to La Villa over and over and over. It's just one of my all time faves by any band. Amen to that - I love the Exit more than any version THat is a great version, I do miss Al's intro that he is skipping now, though. Any chance to see him shred is one to relish.

  6. Tough, tough call between NS and JL. Two masterpieces. I give the nod (right now) to NS. Now ask me next month and I'll probably answer differently
  7. QUOTE (RushRevisited @ Aug 26 2004, 07:02 PM) QUOTE (The Analog Snowdog @ Aug 26 2004, 07:51 PM) Overall, liked it better than GR. Gives you more "background" on the Professors youth and is overall more autobiographical. While GR focused on his "recovery", TM is more of a reminiscing about his life in general and the music that has shaped it. As private a guy as NEP is, it is nice for him to let us into his "inner sanctum" this way. As I said, if you're a fan, it's worth the read. He also hints at a book coming soley about touring experiences, etc! Yeah, ain't that cool! I'm already anticipating it! Edit: ok I had to edit my post just to stick in a BSG smilie that is too cool!

  9. QUOTE (Digital Man @ Aug 25 2004, 11:26 PM) Red Barchetta, pulls me in every time. Just try driving the speed limit with this blasting from your speakers. Now that is true!
  10. The Seeker blew me away both on the disc and live. I was one of the stubborn "purists" who hated the cover ep idea. Hey, I WAS WRONG!
  11. I see I'm not alone! BTW is such an intense song!
  12. Analog Kid, the solo still blows me away even after 20+ years.
  13. Tough one! In the studio Peaceable Kingdom is my fave, but live I have to say Secret Touch just blows me away every time I hear it!
