The Analog Kid
Finally caught it on the last tour, which was awesome.
With that said, I've seen all three of these performed live before, but The Analog Kid is still far and away the BEST song of the bunch.

Lock & Key...but Prime Mover is right there beside it.
I'd be ecstatic to see either one live. In fact...please play BOTH.

Neurotica.
Hands-down.
I know most hate it...but it's my favourite song on RTB, so I'd love it.

Here is one that's a little more up-to-date...

I would love it...no doubt. But I'm pretty sure there is almost a zero percent chance of this being played.
Although CoS seems to be well-received by the hardcore fans, the Boys themselves, are NOT fans of CoS. I think they still look at the album as they did in 1975...the album that was poorly received and almost destroyed their career.
I'm not sure if they realize how much most of us enjoy it...I think they still see it as "poorly received" as it was during its release, to be honest.
Couple that in with the "out of range" vocals and the length of the song...and I find it extremely unlikely that we will see this masterpiece sadly. :(
Even if we just got the instrumental part of section 2 of the song, I'd flip my shit in excitement.
Absolutely agree. I remember saying that before the last tour...I feel if they could just play "Under The Shadow"...Alex could shred and it would go over great with the audience! One of the heaviest pieces they've ever done. :haz:

Closer to green than "In between" based on the above criteria. Also, I only eat bananas directly out of the skin or in my mom's homemade ice cream. Don't like banana flavored candy, gum, pie, cake, in cereal or any other way.
Banana creme pie can be a good thing if it's made right. I make mean banana muffins and banana bread. But banana-flavored anything else just doesn't work.
Agreed. I don't mind bananas as they are...and I do enjoy Banana Bread / Muffins. However, that is it. I can't stand Banana in anything else...shakes, ice cream, pies, candy, etc. I find it very over-powering in whatever it's in. Yes...I know, odd, but it's true!

Bottom:
Seven Cities of Gold
The Wreckers
Shit:
BU2B
Oh...
Those were three of the better rankings on there. I would swap Halo Effect and Wish Them Well, and there are are a few other tweaks I'd make, but then again I'm not him ;)
For sure...everyone likes what they like. I just found it funny since those three songs were in my Top 5, including BU2B (his worst) being my favourite. LOL

13. Spindrift
If you can manage to listen to the song until the three minutes mark, Alex and his guitar save the song. Somewhat.
I used to hate the song. Now I actually like it. Rush stuck it in my head for days and tortured me with it going endlessly through my mind until I did. ;)
:musicnote: What am I supposed to say?
Where are the words to answer you when you talk that way? :musicnote:
Oh...for sure. That bridge section ("...a little closer to you...") and into the solo is the part that really makes the song for me.
But in general...I think the song is great, and certainly one of my top favourites on S&A.

This should be good...and tough! One of my all-time favourite Rush albums...solid throughout IMO.
Here goes...
Animate
Cut To The Chase
Leave That Thing Alone
Stick It Out
Nobody's Hero
Double Agent
Cold Fire
Between Sun & Moon
Everyday Glory
Alien Shore
The Speed of Love
Overall...this could change any given hour. Top to bottom...I like all the songs, but my those Top 3 are easily the standouts of this great record. CTTC HAS to be played live next tour. PLEASE!!!!!!

We stole one last night. Poor performance for most of the game...but happy to capture another 2 points!
GO HABS GO!!! :7up:

It's one of my bottom 3 RUSH albums... I'll leave it at that.
For me too...but I don't hate it. But if I had to rank all Rush albums in order, one would have to be last, and VT could very well be it.

How about the...
"no tour in 2015 because we're using the year to write and record a new studio album in time for an early 2016 release and subsequent tour" tour??

Out Of The Cradle (Off the cliff and into the shit-bin)

I dunno...personally, I've always enjoyed the one line quips "the song sucks", "this is sh*t!", etc.
They make me laugh...even when I completely disagree with them!
-
It's a song I remember really liking and listening to a lot back when I first got into RTB.
But over the years...I found myself skipping it quite often.
Still a good track...but like some others have eluded to...I'm not sure that it would translate well live...who knows?!
What song on next tour if you can only pick one?

The Enemy Within...though I would be equally happy with The Weapon.
I haven't seen either live...and I love both. I always thought that The Enemy Within on the P/G Live DVD was amazing...so I'd love to hear it.
