Thank you for that giant picture of AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've only played the first one a couple times.... very well done, beautiful in its simplicity, and scary.

I'd love one song from each album, in order.
Do this for both sets.
Yeah, I know that's way too friggin' long, but that's what I want. ;)

I've always known ahead of time....
...but it his is my first time going to opening night, so I'm going to try to avoid spoilers. :)

People sit in Toronto, of all places. Lame - unless, of course, you have to!

Apparently Alex said something on the radio today that made folks think there would be more dates.
But Alex gets excited and says things.

FYI, 2 of my 6 available Tulsa tix are already taken. I'm only asking folks here to pay what I paid (works out to just under $150/ticket after all the fees).
Section F5, Row M, Seats 7-10 still available.

So, can anyone who knows a bit more than I do about how this works tell me, after today is there still hope of getting anything in the first 10 rows without going to a reseller?
My experience tells me the answer is yes. BUT, less likely than before.

I got 2 for Tulsa, Section F2 Row J (10th), regular price.
I also picked up six more in F5 Row M for regular price.... which one would think would only be three rows behind the row J tix mentioned above... but the more I look at things, the more I'm convincing myself that the lettering starts over when you get to the second tier of sections (F4, F5, F6). I wonder how many rows are in the first tier of sections (F1, F2, F3)....
Anyone know?
EDIT: It appears to me, after viewing the virtual tour of the BOK center, that F1, F2, and F3 have rows A through K (1 throgh 11), and then F3, F4, F5 would start over at A, meaning that the F5 Row M seats I bought are row 24.
So I have 6 tix in row 24, center to unload!

I wouldn't mind seeing a new singer. It's obvious on CA that he's struggling with enunciation - even more obvious with recent live shows - and it's only natural that he can't sing as high any more.... but that limits the live set list possibilities.

Awesome song, I really dig it. Unique for them, indeed.
Plus it has sort of a butt love title.

My son has beaten it (stop). I've played a few matches, but the whole exo-suit that turns you into a mini super hero is a bit much for me.

Boobs are the only reason us guys have jobs.
See, the only reason you have a job is to make money.
And the only reason you need money is to buy stuff.
And the only reason you need to buy stuff is to keep you interested during those times when you are not playing with boobs.

I was about to ask what a dope form was.
It's what you fill out to get dope! ;)

1.) Buy dope form reputable dope dealer
2.) Set it on fire

Usually just butter and salt.
Sometimes some taco seasoning is a nice change, though.
Am I right, ladies?

Every once in a while, you gotta poke at thread closing. ;)

Glad you are digging it - thanks for the kind words!!!

OK, this is also a bit of shameless self promotion, but this one has a slower tempo, and might be easier to count. There are several time signatures present, so perhaps it's good counting practice.

Figure counting to a song as quarter notes. If "H" stands for high hat it is like this when you're counting to a song.
Quarter notes
1 2 3 4
H H H H
Eighth notes
1 2 3 4
H H H H H H H H
Sixteenth notes
1 2 3 4
H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H
Simlar non-technical way to look at it:
Playing quarter notes, it feels appropriate to count along like:
"One.........two.........three.........four........."
Eigth notes are for a busier sounding song; it might feel better to count as:
"One...and...two...and...three...and...four...and..."
Sixteenth notes are even more urgent; they feel like:
"One.ee.and.ah.two.ee.and.ah.three.ee.and.ah.four.ee.and.ah."

As others have said, the key is to let the B string ring open for each chord shape. Here's what it looks like the way I play it:
Make sure to watch the hamster Vs. Kobayashi video at the end of JARG's video.
It will help.
