  1. Thanks. I really enjoyed doing it and I was literally tearing up as I did the vocal. we’re a brand new act so anything you can do to spread the word is much appreciated www.blueburst.band
  2. Thanks Goose. Glad you enjoyed it. I've always loved that song and I really enjoyed doing it. They kept it in their live sets quite often, so I think they must've really enjoyed playing it too. For me, the lyrics really resonate, and that idea of going after your dream, damn the torpedoes,, has certainly helped inspire me to make music again for the first time in 20 years at age 50. You can hear the whole Blueburst album here., or here on Spotify. It's more alternative than prog for sure. (I don't think I'm a skilled enough guitarist to play prog. Ha.) But....we do have a song called "Supernova" that's got big chunks of 15/4 time in the chorus, which I think was quite Rush-esque of us. And you'll hear lots of 80s Lifeson in the guitar sounds I think. www.blueburst.band
  3. Hey everyone. I just released a new album with my music project Blueburst, collaborating with Marty Willson-Piper (The Church, Noctorum). We did a cover of "Bravado" as a tribute to the memory of Neil. There are no drums on the track to symbolize the fact that he can never be replaced. You can check it out on Spotify, or on Soundcloud. Hope you enjoy it.
